✨Study Tips for Witches✨
I have here some witchy tips and tricks that I use to keep my mind focused and my anxiety low. These are all related to my personal craft and you can change as much as you’d like from it.
Drink Sage Tea - Sage is used for mental strength and wisdom. It allows me to feel comfortable and strong at the same time. If you’re an inexperienced witch I would say to definitely use tea bags, because sage does have some medical concerns if you drink too much.
Draw a small focus sigil on a specific finger - For me, its below my thumb on my right hand or bellow my bracelet lines. In my craft, the hands are just as much of a tool as a book, an athame, or a cauldron. A great deal of my psychic power emits from my hands and when I place a sigil on the specific part of my body that feels “right” I know I’m ready for channeling.
Grab a “worry stone” - This is probably the most helpful component (for me at least) in my studying. I have severe anxiety and when I feel an overwhelming amount of negative energy wash over me I grab my worry stone and rub it. I have a few, but for studying I would use a Blood Stone. A Blood Stone helps build determination, regain personal power, and builds courage.
Cleansing Space - Before studying I don’t use fire. Instead, I use a spray bottle and put mint, lavender, and blueberry leaves in dawn water (all dispel negative energy). I then spray the room and my desk space. This takes away negative energy and gives me a feeling of studying in a flowery forest with birds chirping in the background and the sun shining on my legs. You can use other things that connect you more with a specific place, but I would always make sure you understand the meanings and effects of all the herbs you use.
Chant when mixing the herbs with dawn water:
“Rising sun kiss my toes, Mother Nature hold me close. Dispel my veins from pollution, awaken the vines.”
These are my specific study habits I use and I hope they work for you. Feel free to message/ask me if you have any questions regarding the above tips or wanting more knowledge about some other study habits that I have that might work for you! I love to help!
