anyways this is the jist it’s kinda a mess and mostly vibes but this is kinda my tried and true for language-literature classes: 

negation = red 

subjet = blue

verb = green 

adverbs = purple

attention! = orange (fluorescent) or one of these guys ⚠️

vocabulary (nouns) = purple or pink

green tab = verb table 

blue tab = vocab list

yellow sticky / highlight  = important items / reminders 

anything in orange is URGENT (needs special attention, needs to be changed immediately or taken into consideration immediately)

grey highlights = interesting / important to me 

purple underline = pretty 

yellow = important for the class / discussion 

>> give a color to each discussion question & highlight / star / underline anything that would be used to discuss in class
