i had my first chinese class today!

we mainly just got introduced to the course and what we'll learn, we also learned to write a bit!

my handwriting is quite awkward as the way chinese characters are written is very different to what im used to, but i'm sure i'll improve as time goes! i'm especially struggling with 我 for some reason, i can't write it without making it look super awkward, so i'll definitely practice more! since i'll probably have to use this character a lot in the future i definitely need to learn to write it correctly

anyway, i'm super excited to continue learning and i'm also excited to see my progress through this blog!

Studying Diary 2017-18 #1

(Soo I decided to start kind of series of posts where I tell updates on my studies and everything like that!)

Today was the first day of school! I started my last year in lukio, wow. My class is very small (10 people including me) but we have a good atmosphere! Today we didn’t actually study at all because we have to organise our school’s anniversary celebration which is on this Saturday. And we also went to eat pizza with our class and our group leader teacher. So yeah today was still pretty chill.

Our teacher also talked about the importance of the mental health which I found very supportive! I’m lucky to have such a friendly teachers who are also very good at their job!

What I studied: Read 3 chapters biology (BI5)

Studying Diary 2017-18 #2

I was supposed to do these more often but you know, studying itself keeps me busy.

Okay, so tomorrow is the last exam of this period. After that only two periods to go!! This thought keeps me motivated.

Two weeks ago I had my finals on biology and Swedish. Both went okay, I'll probably get the second best grade in both. It feels so weird knowing I won't study swedish and biology anymore. Especially biology that is one my favorite subjects!

After finals I didn't have motivation to study for my exams (luckily I only had three). Physics wasn't too bad and Finnish exam was just to write an essay. Maths will probably be the most difficult one but I try not to stress too much about it.

Oops and I should do a portfolio about a book for my Finnish class.
