I tried a new format of picture today. Liked doing this annotation thingy with my personal humor.

I have an entrance exam tomorrow for my dream college and i haven't been able to study the past week since my gran passed away last week and the whole family all my little cousins have been here. Lets hope she has some pull upstairs and helps me pass tomorrow.

I also hit 1k last week so YAYY!!! Do y'all want me to do anything for the milestone? Lemme know :)))

Studying Diary 2017-18 #1

(Soo I decided to start kind of series of posts where I tell updates on my studies and everything like that!)

Today was the first day of school! I started my last year in lukio, wow. My class is very small (10 people including me) but we have a good atmosphere! Today we didn’t actually study at all because we have to organise our school’s anniversary celebration which is on this Saturday. And we also went to eat pizza with our class and our group leader teacher. So yeah today was still pretty chill.

Our teacher also talked about the importance of the mental health which I found very supportive! I’m lucky to have such a friendly teachers who are also very good at their job!

What I studied: Read 3 chapters biology (BI5)

Reading a chapter from Gérard Genette's Paratexts: Thresholds of Interpretation for an English Literature exam. Obsessed.

Don't you just love it when you have an English Literature exam in two days and your notes on one of the books are nowhere to be seen? Thank god for this blog, because I'll definitely use some of the quotes I've posted on here so I don't have to reread the whole thing

Btw today I learned that Italy was one of the preferred / safest places to go to for queer people in the 1800s, because Catholicism generally allowed people to sin and then just go to church, confess your "sins" to a priest, and voilà! God forgives all! You're good to go!

I just found out that Marina Tsvetaeva's poetry was part of this year's Russian Literature course, and I am so hoping it's going to be the same next year because I've meaning to read her work for a while now! Finally something that makes me look forward to this exam!
