for curious asks: what's one thing people often misunderstand about you?

A lot of people assume that since I’m generally good at math that I want to be an engineer or something like that, but honestly that can’t be farther from the truth. I want to work in the sciences and humanities and travel and look at the stars and decipher ancient languages, I really hope college will help me with that.

Demeter: Do you miss anyone?

I miss the guy I had a crush on last year because he’s in college right now. He’s a year older than me, and is so sweet and so funny and has the most amazing smile.

Hypnos: Describe your most recent dream.

Okay tbh this one is strange. I’m guessing I was thinking about when, in my Spanish class, we watched a movie about the El Salvadorean civil war, because the dream was sort of like that. I had a dream that i had two younger brothers and one of them was captured by one of the guerrilla forces so i went to go see if he was still alive. i was in the forest by myself and was hiding under a bush when i found my brother and we went back home and had a celebratory dinner with my mom and my other brother. now it was nightfall and at night was when the armies would fight one another, but we foolishly left all the lights on in the house so my brothers and i were captured. the older one tried to run away and was stabbed, so the younger one and i were brought to a boxing ring to participate in the army's "game". the game was basically giant ex-cops would fight kids just to see them die. in my dream i became my surviving brother and was stabbed but i woke up before i fully died. yeah i know right.
