my study space
my setup today - having an easy day so doing my readings on ecosystem health and services while watching youtube gaming
it’s ok to have chill/off days, i have them all the time. i use to be so caught up in the mindset that i always needed to be studying. when i realized how silly that was and that it was ok to chill some days, studying became a whole lot easier
my goal this quarantine is to chill out a bit and find a hobby, so today I tried drawing my favourite things to study (insects) 🐞🐞🐞
what activities are you trying out this week?
hey guys, I know I haven’t been active lately but I have good reason.
For most of last year - mostly the last few months - I fell back deep into my anxiety and depression. I was living very far away from home doing something I thought I would enjoy but really didn’t. I have now started my postgraduate diploma in science and am struggling to find the motivation or passion to do the work. I am in a very dark place, but am trying my absolute best.
So, as a goal, I promise I will try and be more active - I hope this will get me to study more and put myself into a supportive community such as this. If anybody is in a similar situation or would like to talk, I am here for you.
Sending all my love to you darlings xx
Hey all!
NZ has recently ran into some troubles with foreign companies wanting to mine our precious fossil sits for commercial use in animal feed industries and palm oil fertilizer in Asia.
I am fully aware that majority of you are not from New Zealand, however, this is something that is truly unique to our country. Our geology and biodiversity is not like any other country and it is something that I am heavily passionate about.
Please, I beg you, please sign the petition to help turn this amazing site into a protected scientific reserve

uni is over so my goal this summer is to delve into the depths of the book world 📚
bought a big haul of books as an 'exam over' treat for myself, this is the first one to arrive and I am already in love with it ✨
please if any of you have any book recommendations, please send some to me! I am super interested in science based books but am open to any ideas!
