For those who are confused. My first language is Spanish and I am a native speaker. But I was also taught English at the same time, so I am fluent in that too. My brain mostly thinks in English with a lot of Spanish chaos thrown in. I blame American television. 

I am currently learning German (which I love for some reason!) and I want to eventually learn some French, Mandarin and Japanese. I work with a German tutor because I find it hard to study without guidance and having someone forcing me to speak. I am very shy when it comes to speaking German and having someone I can trust to talk to me in German really helps me. I also use some self studying resources and I will share those as I go!

Fruit in German

Had my first German lesson of the summer and we mostly went over past material to see what I’ve forgotten. My tutor said I did really well! Anyway, here’s a list of all the fruit related words that I know so far in German. Enjoy.

I’m planning to start German lessons again in April and I’m so freaking excited!!!

Will be taking part of a language challenge this summer!! After finishing the 100 days of productivity challenge I wanted to do something that allowed me to focus on my language goals. As usual, some members of the @scholasstudygroup will be joining me. I hope we can get it done!

01.25.21 I Day 1 out of 100 I

Today I start the 100 days of productivity challenge! I’m super excited about it and hope it will be a great way to have a good semester. I’m doing it along with some other members of the @scholasstudygroup. 

I was able to attend the first sessions of my classes today, took some and started making some plans on how I can remain organized during the semester. I cleaned and re-organize my bedroom/study to prepare myself for a long semester. I will try my hardest to stay consistent and study hard. I will persevere.
