I was wondering what were careers in art history? I really wanted to do it but it just seems all I could do is teach it. Is there anything else?

from what i google searched, you can also be an archivist, a museum registrar, a museum technician, a preservationist, an art restorer… and, if qualified enough, a museum curator!

Hey do you buy your textbooks or rent? I see that you mark on them and I was just curious 😊

Hi! I don’t know where you’re from, but here in Italy you can’t rent textbooks, you can only buy second-hand ones or sell yours after your studies.

I’ve always bought new textbooks since my family can afford it. Sometimes I have sold the ones that were used very little and only marked with pencil.

Now that I’m studying philosophy I need more proper books, not textbooks, so I buy the most important ones and borrow others from libraries - in this case of course I don’t mark on them, I just read them and take notes on separate sheets or photocopy the parts I need.

Currently studying: APUSH, Christian Service Learning (CSL, a service class), English 3, Precalculus, Ind. Study Spanish, AP Chemistry, Yearbook

Gonna be studying (nxt yr): Psychology/Advanced Writing Workshop (semester classes), AP English, Government, AP Calculus, Bible, Physics, Yearbook

What's IGCSE?

igcse is a lighter form of death before you do your a levels or ib or what have you. it’s a two year course from cie (cambridge) for 9th and 10th graders- 14 to 16 years old. you take a bunch of subjects- at least seven- and then write your test at the end of those two years based off of everything you did (or were supposed to do) in that time. the exams are super spaced out and there are two sessions every year- october/november and may/june- and also febuary/march for india alone. ((when i say superspaced out i mean i’ve been writing exams for two weeks and i still have two more weeks to go someone save me))
