I sold my banjo today for $300. I could have gotten more but it was a gift from an employer so it's all gravy. Plus I got a good vibe from the person I sold it to. She told me she was buying it for a friend as a Christmas gift, and she wanted to get a right away before tomorrow, and that he was a Americana musician. Me being a big fan of Americana, I thought that was given a free as in the let it go for a $100 less than what I was originally asking. I had seen oncs like this going on the Internet for upwards of around $500. But I've got so much stuff that I've been paying for storage and keeping for so long, I need to sell it quick, all of it.
