Indulge in the delightful combination of Nutella, chocolate chips, and a touch of sea salt with these delicious stuffed chocolate chip cookies. A perfect blend of sweet and salty flavors!
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 large egg. 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips. Nutella, for stuffing. Sea salt, for sprinkling.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. In a larger bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. Add the egg to the butter-sugar mixture and beat until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Stir in the semisweet chocolate chips. Scoop a spoonful of cookie dough and flatten it in your palm. Place a small dollop of Nutella in the center and fold the cookie dough around it, sealing the Nutella inside. Place the stuffed cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them. Gently press down on each cookie dough ball with a fork to slightly flatten. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each cookie. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still slightly soft. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
