As it says, I’ve decided to go back to school for a bookkeeping certification. It’s been two years since I finished my BA, and with no work and nothing promising on the horizon, I must look elsewhere for a consistent income.

I’m not totally happy about this. It feels a lot like failure to have to admit something didn’t work out like you hoped it would. Someday I hope to come back to this idea of drawing for a living.

I’m not quitting drawing. It’s far too much a part of who I am to give it up. I just won’t be able to devote as much time to it anymore, at least for the foreseeable future.
