[He keeps having to send you asks. Why this, Tumblr?] Kind of. It doesn't work as well as an actual shield and it slows me down, but it frees my hands up a lot. When I was little I used to tuck my plating and leap off of shelves and try to aim for this big bucket on wheels that I'd fill up with water. Dad didn't think it was funny when I missed and broke off two finials.
