“okay,  someone  sent  me  this  girl  on  tiktok  making  a  stuffed  crust  pizza  out  of  those  holiday  sugar  cookies  and  chocolate  …"  she  pauses,  plopping  two  bags  on  his  counter.  "SO  I  FIGURED  WE  SHOULD  TRY  IT  !  i  really  thought,  who  better  than  to  venture  on  this  journey  with  than  danny  ?”

closed  for  @stup1d4u  ,  cake  a  diem.

usually  when  she  drops  by  the  local  bakery  ,  teddy  is  the  first  person  she  would  look  for.  this  time  is  no  different  ,  although  she’s  hoping  her  friend  won't  be  there  —  a  sense  of  relief  washes  over  her  when  she  finds  danny  behind  the  counter.  "  not  here  for  teddy  today  ,  "  she  announces  ,  as  if  that’s  the  first  thing  he  would  be  asking.  "  i  know  ,  shocking  ,  but  hey  ,  would  you  ever  be  down  to  teach  somebody  to  bake  ?  not  just  something  easy  too  ,  but  something  that  could  be  impressive.  like  ‘  wow  ,  i  didn't  know  a  normal  person  could  pull  that  off  ’  kinda  thing.  "  there  is  just  one  teensy  bit  of  a  problem.  "  that  somebody  has  never  baked  before  though.  "

LOCATION:  old  festival  grounds  @  national  guitar  day  (  @stup1d4u  )

elias  looks  around  the  grounds,  slightly  surprised  at  how  many  musicians  showed  up  for  the  event.  he  shouldn't  be  surprised  –  it's  a  town  with  rich  musical  history.  still,  he  can't  help  but  turn  to  the  nearest  person  and  mutter  “i'm starting to  feel  like  i'm  the  only  perosn  in  town  who  doesn't  own  a  guitar.”

“hi  !”  she  waves  as  she  enters  the  bakery,  surprised  that  she'd  seen  danny  behind  the  counter  from  the  glass  outside.  when  they'd  first  run  into  each  other  (  literally  ),  danny  told  her  he  much  preferred  the  back  of  the  bakery.  figured  she'd  take  it  as  a  win,  a  chance  to  cash  in  on  his  COOKIE  OFFER.  “ofeliya,”  she  points  to  herself,  knowing  immediately  it's  probably  a  silly  way  to  jog  his  memory.  “i  hope  you  remember  me,  otherwise  this  is  just  really  embarrassing,”  she  chuckles  softly,  finally  approaching  the  counter  and  folding  her  hands  atop  it.
