MOGARI SHIHIKUNO
One word between your friendship. Chaos.
I feel like he'd be excited on occasions (wedding, prom, etc...) He's never got to experience those so I feel like he'd hype those up
After he got introduced to soc med, I feel like either he won't care much OR be on his phone 24/7, again it's a new thing for him so either one of the two
You two often watch old movies at his house, Ren occasionally pops up as well. I feel like Mogari would ask Ren not to try and poison him when his friends are around, so that's that
Mogari teaches you to play the shamisen when he's bored, he's surprisingly and unsurprisingly patient
The other three often follow around—but you don't really mind
He's a big back + fast eater, so expect to see him eat HUGE amounts of food
If you're not a big back and is picky, he'd gladly take your food.
If you ARE a big back, then expect competitions
Pockets everything he sees pretty, it's somewhat of a toxic trait
Tends to work out a lot, so get ready to lose some weight
Likes to explore around the neighborhood when he's free—prepare for 5 hour long walks
Friendships are SACRED to him, we probably already know what happened the last time he got a friend—so he REALLY treasures his friendships with you and the guys, and also tries his best in order for his family to not get in the way
Overall: chaotic but he is a good friend through and through
EUGENE KOREKISHI
Composed but crazy in his own way (I mean c'mon he's literally friends with a weeb, a ghost hunter, and someone who can't look a person in the eye)
Lends you his novels for you to read
ORGANIZED. School supplies to even his dang uniform
Has THE BEST sense of fashion (formal wise) + he is European after all—so if you're like him, you two probably try your best to outcompete each other
I feel that he likes deep talks rather than small chats. Of course, with your consent—he likes to discuss with you.
If you don't get something, he'd be happy to teach it to you step by step. If you don't get it, he'd gladly repeat it—even if it takes multiple times
Likes to taste tea with you and the others. Tea > Coffee. He will die on that hill defending tea.
The most rational one out of the group/the advisor. You need advice? He's right there.
Really REALLY likes puzzles, especially those escape room ones. Has multiple games like that on his phone and his YouTube feed is probs full of it. Explains to you how each one works and carefully theorizes it. He does NOT play with these.
I feel like he'd be obsessed with Leonardo da Vinci's journal. (If you didn't know Da Vinci's journal was written backwards, and explored human anatomy and more.) Also likes the Renaissance period for it's discovery of knowledge.
D1 ranter, likes knowledge as a whole—hoping that you're as curious as him
Understands niche jokes about like... Science, math, history, etc...
Likes trying out new things with you + the guys. Treats his friendships like they're sacred bc he never really got to have any friends outside of the whole "special kid" ordeal
Overall: he's a nerdy guy, but is super understanding
KAORU KANIZAKI
He's also a nerdy guy, only in terms of anime and manga
Hoping your an anime lover too cause he yaps about it A LOT
Also likes breaking down characters and scenes to what they mean and how it affects the plot
His manga collection is IMPECCABLE, highly organized—sorted each month whenever there's something he wants to add. You and the guys help him arrange it.
Has INSANE RBF, he gave you the chills when you two met
Likes hangouts but it drains THE LIFE out of him. Prefers low energy activities
Speaking of which, he absolutely HATES sports. ABSOLUTELY DESPISES IT. Likes the visual aspect, but not the physical aspect of it.
While it may not show, he cherishes his friendships with you guys bc it's one of the most genuine connections he's made
You + the guys hang out at his place. Either to discuss about exorcism or to play video games.
Avid gamer + likes to try new games. I feel like he'd force you and the other three to watch Game theory with him. (Defo not me projecting my love for matpat here)
Hear me out on this. He's probably got the best hygiene/skincare/haircare routine. LIKE HIS SISTER IS LITERALLY A BEAUTY EXPERT.
He isn't the "cold, brooding" guy everyone perceives him as, he's actually really nice when you get to know him
Has VERY SPECIFIC taste, whether it's food or clothes—he knows what's he's looking for and is DETERMINED to find the exact thing
Overall: please don't get intimidated, he's trying his best
TAMON KOTARO
Has the most hydrated voice when he sings, hits high notes pretty easily
He'd actually be able to look you in the eye (for 5 minutes, don't get cocky now)
Likes to learn about music theory, it's his passion + likes to learn new recipes
I feel like he'd try to keep up with Mogari while eating, they're both big backs anyway
Plays quite a lot of instruments, but focuses on the electric guitar
I feel like he'd be fine with any type of music, but with an emphasis on Rock or something similar
Second guesses EVERYTHING he does, you and the guys teach him how to choose for himself
His yt + soc med feed is filled with ASMR, you tease him about it
Knows a lot of bands and has an extensive knowledge on them no matter what year or genre
On the topic of cooking, he LOVES picnic as it gives him a reason to cook some new recipes + foods he likes
Brings a heavy ahh bag with him everywhere bc he sweats a lot, not only that but bc he's like the wardrobe of the group
Has the most prettiest layout in his socials, you ask him to do yours and you've never changed your layout eversince
Since we've all probably established that he listened to music 24/7, I feel like he's the best to go to if you want a song to listen to.
Overall: He's the music guru and chef of the group—he's also trying his best to look everyone in the eye
ICHIMIYA SORATO
Headcanon that he was once a part of the theater/acting community cause there's no way that's he has not been caught yet
Has a hard time expressing his emotions bc of this
Performative rich final boss, you keep your mouth shut bc he wants people to actually get to know him
Also an avid gamer but can't play anymore bc he is now a chairman unfortunately 💔
You once caught him reading an article about ghosts, and well...you joined him in the reading
Doesn't really care about fashion much, but does want to look nice when he goes out—you help him pick clothes
You were the first person to see his abundant collection of stuffed toys, you now hold that fact above his head
Composed like Eugene, but could go overboard with it
Hates long ass meetings, LOATHES them sm—but he can't do anything about, you try to cheer him up tho
Contrary to the popular belief of the students, he actually likes sweet stuff—you often give him sweets whenever it's just the two of you
He takes special interest in economics, and sometimes mutters something about under his breath
Minor problems makes him internally crash out, so whenever it's only the two of you, he crashes out
If he does (miraculously) have free time, he invites you over to play video games
Overall: Fake nonchalant final boss, you try to console him about it
