I just want to note something, even though I know I will inevitably fail to follow my instructions in the future.

If you get a USB device. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE EVER PLUGGING IT IN.

Damn.

Because I didn't do that, I ended up having to screw around with registry entries. and that shit is DANGEROUS.
