#stupid mic

So

I fogured out why my voice wasn't recording. It's cause my stupid ass computer turned all my microphone permissions off. So I didn't know that until I dug around in settings cause Windows 10 settings are a fucking maze. But now my voice is really loud and I've been adjusting the volume, but it doesn't affect the recording for some reason. So sorry for the delays. :( Still working on figuring it out. If anyone can help, I'd love you forever. I've adjusted the microphone volume which only made it so my friend in VC couldn't hear me. I've adjusted master volume. I've adjusted the Discord volumes. I've tried so many things and all are still really loud. I use XBox Gamebar to record cause it's really easy to use except when something goes wrong like this. XP I really need to find a simple game recorder... I used to use Plays.tv, but then they updated and decided it hates SWTOR and ate my log in info.

Now I remember why I never use it

I thought it would be nice to try the old Microphone my dad has had for ages since some of my video quality doesn't sound very good to me. Sadly to my dismay not only is it not an improvement but it won't work with FFsplit and now it won't work for me at all since I installed the external mic. Whats worse is that when I unplug it my internal mic seems to be going overboard and it's like it's over active. I can hear a louder version of my tapping and typing away when it acts up. x.x

I did a thing and ew but whatevs. I wasn't actually trying I just felt like doing this so I did and I'm tired so I'm going to sleep soon. Bleh. I need a better mic. This one sucks.

I’m finally okay with the way I sound when I sing and was going to cover to post on YouTube. But my mic wants to be a butt and detect the noise of my computer even though I selected external mic…..and I’m such a noob with audacity that I don’t know how to get rid of it :/
