This place is F R E S H. It feels O P E N and A I R Y. At first glance, she shook her head with distaste. D I S G U S T E D that leaving her H O M E was the way things had to be, perhaps now, she understands. People W E L C O M E her with warm embraces and soft spoken words. They are P A T I E N T and she is so G R A T E F U L. They know N O T H I N G about her, or what she’s seen. But there is one B O Y in particular. Emma O B S E S S E S.
The initial I N T R O D U C T I O N is just a little awkward. He T A L K S kind of F A S T and she P R O CE S S E S kind of S L O W. In time, adapting is simple. He takes P H O T O G R A P H S and she is I M P R E S S E D– envious, even. They spend a lot of time together, often by C H A N C E. But something is O F F, she can feel it.
When D A Y S turn into W E E K S, the concerns of overthinking consume her every thought and she finds herself running in C I R C L E S for salvation.
Through an O P E N door and an eerily…L I F E L E S S home. Up the stairs, there is L O U D banging afoot! And there is the horrific site. Ruthless F A T H E R leaning over defenseless S O N. And she feels a S E E TH I N G rage begin to build.
A single arm raised, outstretched with C U R L E D fingers. Violent tyrant begins to C H O K E and turns a lovely shade of P U R P L E. But further P A N I C ensues, and she is lead out of the house. And two souls R U N for their lives– far far away, until they cannot take another breath.
