Magic Man Turns One and I’m Still Losing My Mind

hi everyone 💚

so sorry for the one-month hiatus. I was on a short trip, and before that I had to take care of some work stuff, so life got a little messy again. It was a… weird summer :))) but thankfully, it ended up kind of okay.

I’m writing the next chapter nonstop now, and I’ll post it soon. Please forgive me for the delay. I know this story is already becoming very long, but I’ve been thinking a lot about the ending and how to bring everything together properly.

We’re getting closer to the end of this story now. Almost. Not quite :D but almost. There are still some things I need to sort out before we get there.

It’s also been exactly one year since I started writing this story, which is honestly wild. I know it’s been a weird one :)))) but thank you for staying with me through all of it.

Jackson's character was bisexual in whirlwind as well as Nobody knows the king of heart. Is it going to be the same in Magicman?

Actually, no. In Magic Man, Jackson’s relationship with sex and sexuality is very different.

For him, sexual relationships are such an alien and complicated area because of his trauma. That’s partly why he slept with Mark, to see if it would feel the same with him or if what he feels with Jinyoung is something different.

So no, his sexuality in Magic Man isn’t really the same as in Whirlwind or Nobody Knows the King of Hearts. This Jackson is dealing with a very different kind of damage.

Whats the need to tell a writer that you found the writings weird. The writings thats been enjoyed but hundreds more. If you find it weird then you scroll away. Nobodys asking for your money

But it’s okay for people to have opinions, and I’m okay with hearing them as long as they’re not being hateful or insulting. Not every story is for everyone, and I understand that.

At the same time, I really appreciate that I have people here who enjoy my pen, no matter how weird the story gets :))) You guys understand that this is simply a story I want to tell.

And honestly, the moment someone stops enjoying it, they’re completely free to stop reading. No hard feelings at all. Fanfiction is supposed to be something we choose for ourselves 💚

And yeah, I understand. It is a weird story, and I did say from the beginning that this one would be strange :D

It’s about people with many, many, many psychological issues who are also too smart for their own good, so they either refuse help or convince themselves they don’t need it. I tried to show that especially through Dr. Mercer and Jinyoung’s interactions.

I totally understand that fanfic is comfort for a lot of people, and this story is honestly not comforting in any way :)))

So yes, I get it if it’s weirding you out. That’s completely fair :)
