               Of course. He should have known that would be Gavin's reaction. After all, it was Gavin. He, just like Michael, was stubborn. Probably why they did so well together. But he was right to be concerned. It wasn't nothing and Michael knew it. So with a sigh, he closed his eyes, moving a hand up to rub Gavin's arm. "Just a nightmare."

For whatever reason, during the winter season, it snowed in Los Santos. Doing heists during blizzards, or even light snows, were one of the things that Michael looked forward to the most. The snow dancing around bursts of flames and car parts that flew from the air were a sight. One of the other things that Michael looked forward to, in all honesty, was seeing the reaction from the crew when he gave them their presents. 

It was still early in the morning, on Christmas day, when Michael burst into Gavin’s bedroom. He didn’t care if the kid was still asleep or not, but Michael wanted Gavin to see his gift right now. 

“Get up you fucking shithead! I wanna give you your fucking gift!”

             The  instant  the  words  are  out  of  Gavin’s  mouth,  she  recognises  what’s  happening,  sees  the  offence  creep  across  the  other  gang’s  faces  &&  as  they  turn  to  look  at  each  other,  her  hand  snaps  towards  Gavin’s  wrist,  propelled  by  a  jolt  of  adrenaline.   The  meeting  had  been  inching  towards  this  kind  of  response  any  way--  the  other  gang  just  refused  to  operate  in  a  different  territory --  &&  Gavin  had  just  kicked  them  over  the  edge.

              ❝  We’re  leaving. ❞   Mica’s  words  come  out  sharp,  a  chastisement  hidden  in  the  inflections  of  her  tone--  a  testament  to  the  ass  kicking  he  would  get  later  for  spurring  the  gang  into  action --  &&  she  hurls  their  weight  towards  the  door,  cracked  open  behind  them.  

             About  five  seconds  before  they  reach  the  door,  gun  fire  &&  a  shout  bursts  out  from  behind  them.  She  thinks  she  catches  a  command  to  ‘ take  them  alive ’  but  shes  far  too  busy  cursing  out  her  footwear  and  the  bullets  dancing  around  their  pounding  feet  for  it  to  register ;   they  just  need  to  make  it  to  their  car.  Get  to  the  car  with  its  glorious  bulletproof  body  &&  glass  &&  they  can  meet  up  with  the  rest  of  the  crew  &&  they  won’t  be  so  horribly  outnumbered.
