Jihyun glanced in the direction of his dog, and smiled a little while the German Shepherd stood, alert to her owner. “ Byeol – she’s pretty, isn’t she?”

   A chuckle, Jihyun even if briefly finds it easier to breathe. “What of your own name, if I may? I’d like to thank you properly.”

─「ヴァイオレット」─  “ byeol ... ” the female tested the NAME on her tongue, it sounded foreign to her ears, at least. but the loyal canine all alert to her owner brought a small smile to her face. “ she is beautiful, and very strong structure. she reminds me of canine companions we had in the war. ”

                “ it’s violet evergarden, sir. would it be alright to ask for your name as well ? and please follow me. it’s your first time in this city, i presume ? ”

   --- Round and round and round but then the dizziness came. Dazai put his head on the table just after turning several times with his office chair. He should not have done that. But while he was recovering, he looked sideways at his companion. Was he doing his job or was he just looking for things on that computer?

   G stared at the boy with narrowed eyes. Well, with his narrowed? eye sockets. He could see blows, wounds, blood from the other’s nose and mouth. It reminded him enough of someone from the past. Even so, he could not let himself be carried away by a past that he was not going to recover.

    After hearing what the kid said, he sighed and crouched down.

    ❝ Kid. You don’t have to dress as like others want. Don’t let anyone tell you what to do. Listen, if you want, I’ll take care of them. It’s not a problem for me. I may look fragile to be skeleton but... I’m not what people think. ❞ he offered.

“I’m sure there were many people who feared you back when worshipping you was more popular. You are quite powerful, from what I know. But…” He trailed off to chuckle, grinning and stretching to press a kiss to the side of the god’s neck. He couldn’t resist showing affection to such a charmer. Blue eyes glittered with a challenge; a dare to see if Dionysus would try to prove him wrong. “I’m not afraid of you in the slightest, and if I should be, you’d have to be the one to tell me that. I won’t believe you if you try to, though. You’re too sweet to me.”

Chuuya gradually leaned against Dionysus in turn, reaching a finger to lightly trail it along the curve of the god’s horn. A snort slipped out of him at the mention of age, though the sound was unintentional. He knew Dionysus was incredibly old by mortal standards, but it still amused him to hear someone with such a pretty face to call himself old. Before he could say something about it, however, the horn hooked onto his hair, holding it between them like a connecting thread and blending the two colors of their hair together. His eyes wandered to the mix of ginger and burgundy—a sunset, made by them.

“I could say the same to you, you know. But somehow, I think if my looks were the only draw, you wouldn’t have been so interested in me the rest of that day, and you wouldn’t be interested now either.” Reluctant to disturb their intertwined hair, he carefully shifted closer. “It’s funny, but you being a god doesn’t bother me like it should either. Instead, I just feel…lucky.”
