It is in utter concentration that Janelle watches this sport, something that she has never attempted. She simply does not have the patience to try such things, a game of croquet. The hammers were small, things that would only be mishandled in her hands. So perhaps in many ways Janelle admired people like this, who had the concentration and the dedication to do such impossible things. Wonderful, she thought! Marvelous!
