Send one for my muse’s reaction to your muse: (attempting to) stab them
It was all very routine. After taking his measurements, Iori led the dapper Maxwell into the drafting room, beginning to set up the projector to the tablet for designing purposes. He reached for a fabric sample book on the top shelf...
And found himself pulled backward, suddenly and violently, by his arm. Just as well, too--a shadowy blade stuck in the wall where Iori stood just moments ago, with Maxwell’s guilty hand on the hilt. Whether the snarl Iori heard afterward came from Maxwell or Rex, he was unsure. But the two darted out of the room, in much the same fashion as a hawk dove after a snake.
Unfortunately for Rex, Maxwell slipped away into the night, leaving a furious, snarling man in the doorway.
“Why the hell was that?!”“I--haven’t the slightest idea. He just asked for a suit.”“You don’t know who he is?”“No, I’ve... Never seen him before in my life.”“...Bastard’s gone now, looks like.”
Rex turned to Iori, helping him up and trying to take the edge off his voice.
“You okay?”“I am.”
I could have just died there, had Rex not been watching. The tailor thought to himself.
Wow Rex, how come your Frisk let you have two fights?

Genocide
Intro
The dusty child stopped a bit before Rex, one brow raisedcuriously. They flipped the knife in their hands, wondering how to go aboutthis. Did they have enough LOVE? Well, you never knew until you tried.
“It’s really nice to meet you again, Mr. Rex. I mostly seeyour fiancé. I wonder, what type of expression will he make if you don’t comehome?”
Their smile betrays their intentions, and their lunge istelligraphed.
Battle
The first attack is easy enough to dodge, just a knife goingdown the screen. The battle begins, and Frisk patiently waits their turn.
Four opinions come up for the Act menu with Frisk: Check,Rage, Calm, Remind
* Check
FRISK AT 99 DF 99
Determined to kill
* Rage
Raging causes Rex’s attack to raise, but also causes Frisk’sdefense to raise, though not at the same rate. This stacks three times, afterwhich Frisk’s defense begins to drop, each with their own bit of dialogue
“You’re awful scary when you’re mad.”
“…Hey, stop looking at me like that!”
“I am not scare of you. I’ll show you…!”
* Calm
Calming causes Rex’s attack to drop, and also causes Frisk’sattack and defense to drop. This stacks three times, with dialogue for each.
“That’s not going to work. I’m not mad. I’m having fun!”
“…Stop that.”
“…”
* Remind
Rex tries to trigger memories of Frisk’s friends and family.It causes Frisk’s defense to drop. Doing so five times causes the child toflee.
“…”
“…Mom…”
“…I did this…”
“I guess I always was a bad child, hehe.”
“…That’s not funny.”
What attacks they may have.
Free uses three different attacks. Their main attack isslashing the screen. It comes with a warning in advanced, so it’s fairly easyto dodge.
The second is a frying pan is flipped, spilling either blue(damages if you move) or orange (damages if you stay still) attacks onto thescreen.
The third attack is tearing pages out of a note book anddropping them into the screen. When they hit the bottom quarter, theyuncrumple, causing them to be harder to dodge at the bottom of the screen.
Death
The child collapses, trying to hold together their crackingsoul. Or at least that’s how it seems.
“I wonder… Will anyone believe this was self defense. Ha… Ha…Ha… Shattering an I NO CENT CHILD’S SoUL!”
They press hard on their soul, causing it to shatter. Theirempty body flops lifelessly forward.

Intro
“What do you mean you’ve never had soul to soul combatbefore? Then how have you fought. … Really? That’s silly. Here, let me show youhow it’s done. Alright, first you pull out your souls… Hmm, you have a nice one. Okay, now, you’ll take turnsattacking and defending. I suggest mainly acting. Don’t worry, the narrationbox will show you the rest of how it’s done.”
Battle
They are three opinions for the Act menu: Check, Praise, andScold. Frisk is automatically sparable at the beginning of the encounter.
* Check
FRISK AT 1 DF 1
Seems a little too experienced when it comes to combat for anine year old…
* Praise
Rex compliments the child’s fighting skills. Frisk getsembarrassed and covers their face. Their attacks avoid you for the next turn.
“N-nah…”
* Scold
Rex scolds Frisk for not taking this seriously. The childfumes. Frisk’s attack raises to 15.
“This isn’t a serious fight? If you want one, I can show youone!”
What attacks they may have.
There is only one attack. Frisk hits the box with a stick.It attack three times. They telegraph the attack by blinking open that eyebefore attacking. It’s easy to dodge.
If Rex is under half health, Frisk only hits outside the hitbox, making it impossible to do more damage. It’s impossible to die, due toFrisk’s low attack and passive nature.
Death/Betrayal
One strike will kill them, since they aren’t expecting this.They continue to smile as their soul cracks. Reflectively scrunching their facein pain, they look down at their breaking soul.
“My… Soul? Wh… Why?”
It shatters and the child falls lifeless.
You won!
9092 EXP and 23 GOLD earned!
Spare
Frisk backs down as soon as they are spared. They smiled andnod to him.
“Get it now?”
You won!
0 EXP and 5 GOLD earned.
Alternatively, if Rex attacks and misses five times, theyget mad.
“Fine, if you won’t do anything, I won’t bother to help!”

[EXAMINE]
It’s a beautiful ring that fits perfectly on Raven’s finger. You’re very happy for him.
Hopefully, he and Rex will be better people than Soichiro and Ragyo. You’ve only seen one marriage work in your lifetime, and that was the Mankanshoku’s.

> [EXAMINE]
A marionette in a child’s likeness, you think. It has piercing violet eyes. They’re staring right at you.
> [CHECK]
They’re giving you a horrible grin through the window off your store. You’re not sure what kind of trouble they want to cause you or your friends.
What was that noise?
> [LOOK BACK]
Peridot’s hand was on her blaster, and Dio was currently getting up to put his hand on his knife. Rex has a furious look on his face, and moves to stand in front of Kotoura.
Zeno seems to snicker, but walks away. It’s a few minutes before your coworkers withdraw their weapons and go about their business.
You’re amazed they went to defend you and your store so readily... It makes you realize you really do have quite a few people who love you, Shirou.
