Six Sentence Sunday

The past couple of days I've been really focused on Some Things You Just Don't Question my Carole/Burt/Elizabeth AU where Elizabeth is Finn's Kindergarten teacher and meets Carole, and eventually the three of them get together with the help of Hiram and Leroy. I've had about half of it written for months now, but I've only actually started the second half in the past few days... and it is going to be sad, because of course it is, because we all know what happens to Elizabeth in canon.
I still have a lot of scenes to write, mostly transitional stuff in the second half, some sad but heartwarming Kid!Furt scenes, etc., but I'm so happy with what I have so far! Here is six sentences from before the three of them get together.
They were like a fairytale couple, a couple you could see as the face of a rom-com. Elizabeth, especially, always dressed stylishly in floral skirts, or pastels, or colorful prints. Her perfectly styled auburn hair, her ocean eyes, her red painted full lips and button nose. But Burt was the perfect everyman to her quirky leading lady. Carole wondered what that made her - the heavily queer-coded best friend, probably. She smiled at the thought, chuckling slightly to herself.
