so like. i’m a girl. i love being a girl. genuinely. no confusion there.

BUT

i also have a ridiculous amount of gender envy toward like… masc people. the vibe. the silhouettes. the “i just threw this on and somehow look like a moody art student who knows how to fix a bike” energy.

and i want to lean into that a bit in my clothes without like… abandoning being a girl?? just kinda… girl but a bit more masc sometimes.

so i’m asking:

what clothes actually help with that?

like: – what makes an outfit read more masc instantly – what cuts/silhouettes should i look for – what are the “this will make you look like you steal hoodies and have strong opinions about indie films” essentials – and how do you do it without just looking like you raided the men’s clearance section and gave up

bonus points if it still feels comfy bc i refuse to suffer for fashion thank u very much

Okay im redesigning Maron's outfit last minute and I need. Help.

hiii~ so i thrifted a black button up but when i put it on i feel like i look like a guy and super masculine 🥺 how would y’all style it in a girly way!?

hey internet friends , i am requesting the power of way too many people to find very obscure things

basically i found a dress at goodwill and used it for an upcycle for a school project , and i rlly liked the dress (the one i found wasn't my size) so i thought i'd try to find one my size.

and apparently the dress just , doesn't exist ?

i've used like ,,, every search word combo i can think of , i've gone through reverse image search , i checked resale sites , and i've found a lot of similar things but nothing that matches properly.

i didn't get any pics of the dress before i altered it (i figured i could find one online) but i took one after

possible identifying traits : - brand is jump by wendye chaitin - made of cornflower blue taffeta (i think) - has a border of gemstones across the top of the bodice , but it's not just sparkles stuck onto the fabric it's almost a chain of gems sewn as an add-on to the top - strapless , fitted bodice , i forget the specific term for the skirt but it's sort of a toned-down ballgown ?

if anyone can help please i'd appreciate it so much :,D

2. TRY TO FIND WHAT YOU LOVE IN THEM for examples: color, shapes, lineart, faces, noses etc.

3. PUT ALL OF THESE THINGS THAT YOU LOVE TOGETHER!

PS: DON'T TAKE ART FROM ONLY ONE ARTIST, and DON'T COPY THEIR STYLE!!! THIS IS FOR INSPIRATION!! Because like this you will not have a unique style and you will be only a ugly copycat WITH NO IDENTITY. A lot of artist don't like this, if you love them don't do this because THIS is LIKE NON RESPECTING all the WORK and EVOLUTION that this artist have done for finding their style. IT'S A LITTLE HARD BUT HAVING AN UNIQUE STYLE, will HELP people to recognize your ART( And also being yourself and not someone else, so just, don't do it, ok?)
