hello there! this is project ladybug.
if you are reading this, hello! project ladybug is a project that is both a passion project and a way to try and fund myself in a way that felt more like a two-way street instead of simply asking help. as a quick disclaimer, let me go ahead and say that there are existing constraints limiting me from pursuing a job to go along with my studies; this resulted in the push for project ladybug. i have been on tumblr before... grew quite a bit, but i burnt myself out by making myself act as if it was mandatory to post daily for almost a year. this is why i am using a new account instead (clue: i was partly an age-re blog). i am mentioning this as a reassurance that, for commission-based requests in the future, i am quite open to anything so long as it isn't perpetuating harm since i am well-versed in the way the internet (particularly tumblr) can be. this is also a promise to myself and everyone to be more sustainable in my operations. so... what is project ladybug? it is a catch-all term for all my future activities (posts, commissions for digital products and write-ups, etc.). tumblr will be my main avenue for expression, with ko-fi and gumroad (maybe other websites in the future too) as my platforms for selling and commissions, though commission transactions can also be done here. i am sincerely hoping for your utmost support for the project, especially as i need to raise at least $2,000 through my products and services in hopes of sustaining myself long enough to graduate. and, in the fortunate event that i do reach that goal, we can kickstart efforts to pay it forward and help others as well.
