I can never say no to happiness. When I got a call from MITH MANILA to do some styling for their event on July 4 2014, I gave it a go despite my uber busy schedule.
I took the project in a heartbeat because it’s small-scale, near my place and exciting. So worth it.
Still using my style philosophy of making real, familiar and ordinary materials beautiful, I made use of jars, bowls, bottles, chrysanthemums, eucalyptus and cans of excellent quality (and costly but worth it) black pylox to create accents for this exclusive party. For 2 days, I was walking around with black fingers. You’ve got to be willing to get your hands dirty if you want to produce good art. 😜
