I can never say no to happiness. When I got a call from MITH MANILA to do some styling for their event on July 4 2014, I gave it a go despite my uber busy schedule.

I took the project in a heartbeat because it’s small-scale, near my place and exciting. So worth it.

Still using my style philosophy of making real, familiar and ordinary materials beautiful, I made use of jars, bowls, bottles, chrysanthemums, eucalyptus and cans of excellent quality (and costly but worth it) black pylox to create accents for this exclusive party. For 2 days, I was walking around with black fingers. You’ve got to be willing to get your hands dirty if you want to produce good art. 😜

Thank you MITH for making me part of #TheVPartySeries! Thank you too for the short tour around Victoria Court Suites! Really awesome (albeit expensive) party place! To more flowers and vignette projects!

This is the beautiful birthday set-up of baby Alessi Velasquez. She turned 1 last May 30, 2014 but the celebration was held the day after in La Vista Clubhouse, La Vista Village, Quezon City.  Mommy Tintin already knew what theme she wanted for Alessi’s first birthday a few months after Alessi was born. Although the first theme that came to mind was Beatrix Potter, Kimmi Doll in pretty pastels won Mommy Tintin’s heart. She carefully planned the party details out from the food to the flowers. My favorite ones are the Kimmi Doll centerpieces and the loot bags! =)

I had a great time setting up this ultra kawaii party with my friend Valerie! (together with Alessi’s sister, Dani and her friend , Ramon) .Our ultimate stress-buster! And just when our panic balloon was about to burst, my love Justin came to the rescue and fixed the place in the nick of time. :)

I love these petites fleurs de printemps that I concocted for the grand opening of Le Jardin restaurant. I’m so glad the centerpieces went well with the overall vibe of the place- young, fresh, happy and vibrant. Once again, MITH Manila had a great run with the event as it rolled until the wee hours. I’m forever grateful. 😊❤️

Another styling stint c/o Mith Events Manila! This time, for Ascof Lagundi’s Naturalista Mom’s Garden Affair. The event took place last May 28,2014 at Earth Kitchen, White Plains. It was attended by around 80 guests composed mostly of Mommy Bloggers and their kids. I had so much fun creating the centerpiece as the task was given to me 3 days before the event. Total adrenaline rush! To more projects, Mith! :)

Btw, I now consider myself an Alstromeria expert. I loove flowers!

Mith Events Manila gave me the opportunity to style their media event for Carmen’s Best Ice Cream in Echo Market, Serendra last March 20,2014. The theme was natural, rustic and organic. I’m happy with how my stint turned out. Thank you, Mith.

I really enjoyed creating a mood board for this lovely wedding. It was fun working with a very creative and stylish bride. My favorite part was the photo gallery where sepia couple photos were placed on dainty doilies and onto the iron garden divider. <3 I also love the J&J love sign that I hand crafted. <3 Thanks Jeff and Jen for trusting me! <3

Jenina Yong's Hen Party!

at the groom's pad in Fort Bonifacio.

I especially enjoyed making the cupcake toppers. They're as pretty and sweet as the cupcakes (by Sonja's at Serendra). The dainty bottle wraps too. Such a pretty disguise for the alcoholic beverage.

I hope all the weight watchers in the house enjoyed the healthy menu :)
