Look at these grownup dorks
Ultimately, while Sonic and the others are able to hold Perfect Tikhaos still, the final hit to the brain is done by Manik and Sonia. Even Tikhaos cannot believe it!
At least we get a bit of backstory on Tikhaos before the heroes kick their ass
Man, looking back, the formation of the Freedom Fighters was pretty dull, though I kinda blame the story's pacing and splitting it into four issues. But on the other hand, there is a sense of nostalgia and the fact that these guys never got to reappear. The same can be said about the future timeline, as we don't see Light Mobius after this.
All in all, this was an okay continuation of the last future story, but its slow start and execution certainly give us a reason why it didn't continue.
