                                                     ZAY WALKS INSIDE ,  and your head lifts up for a minute ,  before resting back down on your arm .   you’re sitting at your desk in your room ,  feeling extremely drained .   how does he always seem to know where you are ? ?   with a sigh ,  you motion for him to shut the door ,  then softly say ,   ‘   i’m fine zay ,  just had two tests and cheer practice .   ’   plus a fight with maya ,  which led to you arguing with lucas .   ‘   really ,  i’m okay .   ’   inside :   why do i mess everything up ? ?

Frowning gently, Mickey glanced from the stranger to over their shoulder where the storm raged outside, battling with herself on just how she could get this stranger to change their mind.. though she knew better than to think that such a thing would happen. Green eyes filled with genuine concern and kindness returned to the person, a small sober smile rising to her lips, “As long as you’re sure…” her tone suggested she didn’t believe it... the storm, in her mind, was too bad to be going out and risking anything

“The offer still stands if you change your mind.. its much warmer in here than it is out there, after all,” she added, not truly wanting to push.. but she couldn’t stop her desire to help.

       “wh—” at first he’s confused ( horribly so ), and it’s not until he sees the penny in zay’s hand that he knows how to respond. if it’s a reference to something, he doesn’t know it, but the penny allows him to reach out and grab at it before tossing an uncooked, unopened pack of ramen noodles at the teenager. 

        “make your own bowl of noodles; i’d need at least 99 more of these for the cost of labor.”
