CHARLES:

Charles's first instinct is to go with you? In fact he doesn't even consider the option that you might be leaving him, because he's your sub? Of course he would go with you? But then you remind him that he has to leave the next day for a race weekend, so there's no way he can go with and he has to go to the race weekend by himself.

That's when Charles starts panicking, because no? No that's not an option? Of course he understands that you have a family emergency and you need to go, but he has to go with you. Because firstly, how could you handle the family emergency without your sub and secondly, how can he handle a race weekend without you?

He is an absolute mess that entire weekend, he crashes constantly, so much so that his team almost considers getting their reserve driver to race for him because it's genuinely dangerous. The moment the weekend is over, he flies straight to you, equal parts worried about you and upset from having to go through a race weekend without his dom.

MAX:

So I think for a very brief moment, Max would actually be angry with you? Because you always promised him that he would never have to go through a race weekend without you. You earned his trust by convincing him that you would never leave him, that you would always be there for him. And so when he finds out that you have to leave for a few days, there's a part of him that feels almost betrayed?

Almost immediately he feels terrible for that, and he feels terrible for it the entire time you're away. So much so that when you get back, he's actually a sobbing mess for that exact reason, apologising for not being more understanding about what you were going through and for only thinking about himself.

LANDO AND OSCAR:

So I think Lando and Oscar try to lean on each other the whole race weekend, seeking comfort in each other and cuddling together and trying their best to get through it. But they also try their best to down play how bad things really are?

Of course you keep in contact with them, calling and texting regularly and they both just act like they're doing okay. They both decide that you have too much to deal with and you can't also have to deal with your subs needing you, but the truth is that they cry themselves to sleep every night and are driving terribly and really really need their dom back.

LOGAN:

Logan, poor darling selfless Logan, immediately just feels terrible about the fact that he can't be there for you? He knows him not racing that weekend isnt even an option, so he has to go by himself while you handle your family emergency.

As much as he isnt looking forward to not having you with him at the race weekend, he's far more upset about the fact that you'll have to handle your family emergency without his support.

FABIO:

Fabio tries to put on a brave face, really he does. This lasts about 5 hours. And then he's calling you crying because his bike his shit and he needs his dom and he knows you're having a hard time and it's all just too much for your good boy.

It's the hardest race weekend he's ever had and he only gets through it because you instruct him to submit to Tom every night to stop him from dropping. He takes a red eye from the race straight to where you are and doesn't leave your side for the next month.

MARC:

I think Marc starts off okay, reassuring you that he'll be perfectly fine on his own and promising to send regular updates and that he'll take good care of himself. And for the first two days of the race weekend, that is true.

Until he crashes in qualifying on Saturday and doesn't have you there to look after him afterwards and he drops hard. He can't get out of it, no one can help. And it's so bad that you have to fly to the race weekend because they're actually considering hospitalising him because no one can help him and no one knows what to do.

You help him through it, and then he goes back to your home with you, in no place to race for the rest of the weekend.

KINKTOBER DAY 7: LONG TERM DENIAL [MARC MARQUES X READER]

Obviously we now all know Marc will be in factory Ducati next season, but that deal was months in the making and he had to prove himself in Gresini and negotiate with Ducati and the whole thing was just so so stressful.

You've been Marc's dom for years, having collared him when he first started at Honda. So the two of you have a whole system already, and you know exactly how to care for him. Usually when Marc is stressed, especially about contract stuff, he likes to vent to you about it.

Often he doesn't even want you to respond, he just wants a safe space to express all his emotions. He usually does it while kneeling, in fact sometimes you'll order him to kneel and talk when you can see he's getting stuck in his own head.

But I think during these latest contract negotiations, for the first time ever Marc will tell you he actually doesn't want to talk? It feels like every single person can only discuss the contracts with him. He has so many people supporting him and on his side, but all of them are constantly wanting to discuss his contracts and whether he's staying at Gresini or moving.

And so when he gets time alone with just you, he actually asks to just be distracted? He asks to kneel for you and watch pointless reality tv or listen to you read to him or even just kneel in silence.

You become his safe space away from the contract negotiations. You get updates from Marc's dad and manager about where they're at with the contracts but you never actually discuss it with Marc. He lets himself just relax with you.

Oh my god 🏍 anon I have missed you so much and I have missed your Motogp thoughts so much. During my little unplanned hiatus I actually got even more into MotoGP so this is just... 10/10. For everyone else: if you send me Motogp thoughts they will get answered embarrassingly quickly.

So let's discuss a few riders with this long break in the D/S AU!

ENEA:

So I really like the idea that you first became Enea's dom last season and you kinda had a baptism by fire because of his injury in the first race of the season and so you had to support him throughout the recovery period. Because of this, you never really had a normal progression of a professional dom/sub relationship? Because you just immediately started practically living with him.

In other words, you raised a kitten in quarantine and now you can't leave him alone. All of this is to say that of course you're with Enea during the strangely long break.

However, I think maybe Enea surprises you with a trip to see your family? Like you think you'll be spending the break with Enea at his house helping him train and scening with him, but no. Enea knows how insanely lucky he is to have you and he wants to show that! So he plans to go with you back home and spend time with your friends and family and he is truly just the bestest boy ever.

(Also, of course Enea is so so scared when Ducati announce that they've signed Marc to be Pecco's teammate because he's so scared that you won't come with him wherever he moves. But obviously he need not worry, you're going with him. Maybe this even prompts you to officially collar him??)

MARC:

Marc is absolutely THRIVING this season. Not only does he have a good bike, but also he just has so much support?? He's got his brother as his teammate and his dad in his garage at all times and his dom and he's just so happy.

But I also think he's putting so much pressure on himself, because he feels like he should have gotten his first Ducati win by now and he's punishing himself for not doing that. He's still crashing and making mistakes and he beats himself up for it.

So I actually think you'd have to put your foot down during this break? Marc says he's happy and ready to train hard and focus on racing this break so that he can get his first Ducati win, but you actually put your foot down and tell him that no, no he's not going to do that.

You've been Marc's dom since he started at Honda, and you've collared him years ago. You know him. And he knows better than to try and argue when his dom orders him. You can see that if Marc keeps on pressuring himself like this and beating himself up for losing, he's gonna end up in the same bad headspace he was at Honda so you put your foot down. You tell him that you and him are going away. He can keep up his workout schedule, but no bikes and no meeting with Ducati personal or anything. Just Marc relaxing and floating in subspace.

He's a little upset when you first say this, throwing a little hissy fit and trying to disobey you. But after a week, he admits that you were right and he's already starting to feel better. It serves a reminder about just how much you know Marc and how you're the best dom he could ever have.

FABIO:

Fabio is definitely one who spends a week in subspace. In fact, fabio doesn't even try to plan for the break, the moments he finds out about it, he just immediately tells you. He doesn't even have to ask for you to plan the break, because he knows you will.

For the first week, it's just you and him in Andorra and when you tell him this he is just so happy. You scene with him the entire time and he's just this happy, giggly sub floating in subspace and being a good boy and being fucked hard every day.

But then after that week, you spend a day slowly getting Fabio to come out of subspace and he just SO happy. He feels so so good and he knows he still has two weeks with you and it's perfect. And then... then you tell him that actually you two are spending the next week with his family?

Which naturally prompts fabio to just burst into tears because he can't believe how lucky he is and he's so excited to spend a week with his family and his dom.

Only after that week is fabio allowed to do some proper racing and working with Yamaha and of course fabio is just in the best headspace possible for that work.

JORGE:

So as we all know, Jorge has just confirmed his new contract with Aprillia next season and obviously that wasn't an easy decision. For a long time leading up to that decision, he was just so stressed and so worried and so confused.

You support him of course, making sure he's entering subspace regularly and not letting him fall into spirals and whatnot.

But now that it's all confirmed and he has this long break, it's the perfect time to just relax and calm down and recover. It's just the two of you and you do everything to make sure that Jorge feels the least amount of pressure.

He can be as needy as he wants and trust you to look after him.

Because I've been dying to know more about the d/s au because I'm this close to writing something related to it and I need more thoughts!!! especially with Marc, Fabio, Pecco and Luca because they're my absolute favorites, but anyone is welcome :))

Oh absolutely!!! I have written a few different things about the Motogp lads in the D/S AU, but of course it's been so long. I think maybe I'll write a paragraph or two about each of the riders you've named and then we can go from there :))

MARC:

So for Marc I'm in two minds about this so I'm just gonna write both options! Firstly, I think you could have been Marc's dominant since he started in MotoGP with you meeting him when he joined Honda and you've stayed with him ever since. He refused to join Ducati unless they could ensure you could come with him.

On the other hand, I think it could also work if he had never really had a close relationship with a dominant until you come along? Maybe you're the Gresini dominant and you've been Alex's team dom since he signed with them. It's Alex who convinces Marc to give you a real shot because he's 100% certain Marc will absolutely love you, and well, he's absolutely right.

Honestly I really like both of these options so I'd gladly discuss either, or any other one you guys come up with!

FABIO:

If there's one thing I am absolutely certain about, it's this: Fabio is a very needy little sub who is the absolute best boy ever!! He prides himself on it. He requires a lot of attention but he truly is just the sweetest little sub ever!!

He always wants you in the room with him, always. Even if he can't sit right next to you, you must still be in the room. In his briefings he'll be sitting there just looking around until he spots you and then he'll start listening and answering questions. And he ALWAYS wears his collar, always.

PECCO:

I think you would have been Pecco's dominant for years, maybe since he started at Ducati or perhaps even before that. He will not entertain talk of any other dominant, absolutely not. He speaks openly and frequently about how important you are to his career and how he never would have won any championships without you.

I also think that maybe towards the end of this season he starts to pull away from you? He sees himself as a failure for losing the championship, and he struggles to allow himself to submit to you because he feels like he's failed as a submissive. I think this would really only resolve when you take him by his collar and make him tell you what's wrong.

LUCA:

For luca I think maybe he meets you when he starts with Honda? He had never really had a dominant that was only his before. He's always been in the academy and the academy has always gotten dominants for him. He appreciates that, of course he does, he knows how lucky he is to have always had a good, trustworthy dominant on standby but they were never really his, they always had to manage all the academy submissives.

So then when he starts at Honda and suddenly he's got a dominant who focuses solely on him, he honestly has absolutely no idea what to do with himself. Needless to say, he refuses all other dominates.

Would loves a little thing about marc trying to keep his necklace on if you would

YES YES ABSOLUTELY.

So this is in reference to ask I answered about Marc in the D/S AU where he has a necklace he wears as a collar that he never ever takes off. He has formal collars that he wears to events or when he wants it to be very clear that he's collared. He'll also sometimes wear his formal collars to doctor's appointments, because it just adds an extra level of comfort. But he ALWAYS has his necklace on, to him that's his real collar.

I also mentioned that when he has surgeries, you have to get him some string that you tie loosely around his neck so that he can still have something on, because before his first surgery he had a complete meltdown because he had to take his necklace off and then when he woke up he was desperately clutching at his neck trying to figure out where his necklace went. So I'm gonna expand on that a little.

(Also I am ALWAYS willing to discuss Marc in the D/S AU, and fabio. And enea. Just MotoGP D/S AU. It's always a fave)

Firstly, Marc doesn't actually realise he'd have to take his necklace off before surgery? Logically it makes complete sense, but he somehow never considered it.

You go into the hospital with him, of course, and he asks you to put one of his formal collars on beforehand. He is well aware that he'll have to remove his formal collar before surgery, but that's fine. He just wants the little bit of comfort as he heads in.

You sit in his hospital room with him after he gets checked in, help him get changed into his own and then gently remove his formal collar. You kiss his neck gently and promise him that you'll be right there when he wakes up and that you'll be there throughout his recovery. He gets a little teary eyed then, thinking of how many years you've been his dom and you've been through all his world titles with him and now you'll go through this with him too.

That's when the surgical team arrives to take him away, they tell him he has to take his necklace off and he freezes. He double checks with them that he has to, and they tell him that it's metal so it has to be removed.

Instantly he's turning to you and breathing hard.

"I'll keep it safe for you," you tell him, like that would make any difference but it doesn't.

He's shaking and crying within a few minutes, and then more people arrive to see what's taking so long which only makes it worse. He hasn't been without his necklace ever since you gave it to him, and now he must remove it? Now, when he's most scared, he must go without his collar? He can't.

You end up having to just take it off as quickly as you can, ignoring his protests because it has to happen.

When he wakes up from surgery, the first thing he does is move his other hand up to his neck and then he startles awake. He doesn't remember the pre-surgery meltdown, but he does know that he doesn't have his necklace on right then and it scares him so much.

He tries to get up, scaring his entire medical team because he absolutely should not be moving yet. But he won't calm down, and his doctor ends up having to call you into the recovery room and bring his necklace with. He calms the moment he has the necklace back on, promptly falling asleep.

So yeah, you always bring some string to tie around his neck for his future surgeries because no one wants to relive that.

Does the champion get a new collar (pick any or all for your choice of champ)? Are the collars sparkly perhaps? Who has a shibari costume (since this is ds au that must be at least minor fashion trend)? Who have the most intricate shibari underneath the costume? Also like other fun things underneath the clothes, so many options.

END OF YEAR GALA:

I definitely think you'd be choosing their clothes! And I love the idea of having formal collars or special collars for formal events? That's so cute and perfect for this AU.

I think for Marc, maybe you gift him a new collar at the end of every season? It becomes a tradition between you two, and maybe the first year that Marc doesn't win a championship he thinks you won't get him a new special collar? But then of course you do and he ends up just sobbing because he realises the collar was never a gift for winning, it was a gift for being your good boy for an entire season, irrelevant of his performance.

For Fabio, you choose his collar, of course. But for the rest of his outfit, it's less you choosing it and more you trying to figure out what fabio secretly wants to wear but won't admit to so that you can encourage him to wear that. Fabio has a pretty out there fashion sense but he always gets shy with formal events, so you have to figure out what he genuinely wants to wear and then encourage that. Even if it's hideous, you still encourage it because it will make him happy.

In terms of coming with them to the gala, I think Enea would be the most surprising? We said that you only became his dom last season when he joined Ducati, and of course he spent so much of that season injured that you were barely on the track with him and instead mostly helped him in his recovery.

You really don't expect to get asked to come to the gala with him, because you've only been his team dom for a year it's not like you've collared him or anything. But for Enea, there's no way he would have gotten through the season without you. It's a no brainier that you come with, and he won't accept no for an answer.

GALA SHENANIGANS:

I definitely think Marc would sneak out as soon as politely possible, he had the season from hell and all he wants now is to finally relax with his dom and enjoy his new pretty collar. He spends the entire gala waiting for it to end and at his first opportunity, he's out of there immediately.

And then the week long post season scene begins. Marc falls into subspace on the plane back to Spain, just so happy to finally not have to worry about racing for a while that just holding him on the plane is enough to make him slip. He stays that way for days, getting the good rest he so desperately needed.

As for who sneaks off during the actual gala... Jorge. It's Jorge. You knew before you even arrived at the gala that you'd have a hand down his pants before you two even got to the car. He's just insatiable, and he blames it on seeing you all dressed up but you know the truth: he's just a horny little bastard.

Bez is the one who ends up leaving last, stumbling and leaning against you. He doesn't just babble about how much he loves you, he shouts it.
