To say you were surprised was an understatement. You just started at the gift in your hands in confusion for a few seconds. Looking back and forth between jiung and the gift he handed you. You thought he was maybe just trying to mess with you, surely he didn't think you were a beta...right?
"Jiung...are you messing with me or are you just an idiot" you asked
His little smile drops as his eyebrows furrow in confusion as he tilts his head to the side. 'Cute', you think to yourself.
"What? What do you mean?" He says.
"I mean did you really mean to give me a gift meant for a beta?" You look up at him. "It's not that I'm rejecting you it's just that...I'm not a beta you do realize that right?"
His eyes widen and his jaw drops open. "What? You're not? But you don't have a scent?". He thinks you're now messing with him. You just let out a chuckle and shake your head.
"No ji, I'm an alpha but I just have no scent, although it does make itself more apparent during ruts" you smile at him, his attempt was cute however.
"I accept it but maybe ask around just to make sure next time you get me something yeah?" You laugh before pulling him into a hug.
His face is red from embarrassment at his mistake but he's glad you accepted it nonetheless. He tucks his head into your neck to try and see if he can smell any scent from you and that he does. It's faint but it's definitely an alphas scent. He just smiles as he melts away into your arms.
If anything he's happier at the fact you're actually an alpha, he didn't think the whole beta and omega relationship would really work out the best but he was ready to try.
