Hiyoko’s child-like laughter bounced off the walls, one arm wrapping around herself as she laughed. She couldn’t help but find his comment amusing. It was unclear if she was deflecting, though. “They’re stupid. They don’t know what they’re talking about. If anything, I really wish I could see if they make a really satisfying popping noise like ants do when you squish ‘em!”

This time around, slipping into the mansion that he has no true fondness for wasn’t a case of trying to push his luck. Nope. This time it was just fortunate or maybe, unfortunate for the one inside that the couch that he had scavenged from this empty place had broken. It was unexpected to find anyone in the mansion..let alone who he found. 

Tingles of unpleasant energy seemed to zip around, more than just the normal choking energy which seemed to coat this place. And by this point, the Nobody knew that energy somewhat well enough to recognize it as one of the sadder emotions. 

So while he doesn’t know...what in Kingdom Hearts’ name was going on with Riku, he knew enough to approach the taller keybearer slowly. Just trying to place the emotion which made his chest tighten. Of course...he also wasn’t expecting the silver to speak to him. 

“Was going to get pieces of a broken couch to fix mine..” Or try. “...Do..you..” They weren’t close and he wanted to allow Riku whatever emotions the silver needed. On the other hand, the sight of tears on the older of the two wasn’t...exactly a common occurrence. 

“You want company?”

Whereas there might have been lingering discomfort when it came to the similarities in their appearances, it wasn't something he actually blamed Ventus for. After all, the Nobody knew which of the two of them came first. So it truthfully it hadn't crossed the younger of the two's mind to lead the other towards danger. 

Though he did pause a little at the inquiries, ceasing pushing at Ventus’ back as his head cocked in confusion. Cop...show? Okay..he knew what shows were, after all, Hayner had a fondness for some. However given the odd energy that seemed to leech from Ventus, the Nobody wondered what the other was actually asking.

“Um...Ven..the fuck is a cop show?” Is what Roxas finally asked, quietly resuming pushing the other blond. “And whatever you’re thinking, relax moron. I know it’s nothing exciting but i wanted to show you a good view of the town..I mean...I spent a good chunk of my life here so...figured you might wanna see it?”

Now that he said it though, he wasn’t entirely certain.

Training Turned Tension

Usually the Nobody wouldn’t raise a weapon to a friend and had this been an actual weapon, there would have been absolutely no way in the Light’s name that Hayner would have been able to convince him to participate in this. However…there was a difference between sparring with a weapon and an old hobby which Roxas didn’t get to participate in nearly enough since getting to be himself again. And that was the only reason he stood here now, foam bat in his hand and a wry smile curling at his lips.

The taunt from his friend though earned a roll of the eyes. Yeah no, there was no way he was going to use the entirety of his strength against a friend. Let alone against a mundane Somebody? Nope. Not happening. That didn’t mean that he would let the demand go totally unanswered though. 

After laughing softly, Roxas bounced back on the balls of his feet and stuck his tongue out at his friend. “And what exactly are you expecting to get if you win? Other than me buying your broke ass ice cream.”
