This was getting ridiculous. You scoff as you scroll through the group chat with your friends, seeing the screenshots of the shit Subin’s been posting. The breakup was… well, far from ideal to say the least. Lots of fighting, lots of tears and screaming. You still don’t think it was the right call to end things - a sentiment Subin definitely shares, unless he changed his mind since. After all, he’s warned you about it. You didn’t listen. You honestly had too much on your plate back then, and you hate that even after all this drama that just keeps dragging on, you can’t find it in yourself to think about it in a different way. It’s no use crying about it now, but some angry tears burn in your eyes anyway as you come up with a few low blows on your own to post. It doesn’t take too long before your phone lights up with a message from him. Seriously? Aren’t you tired of this? You are. You very much are. And as aware as you are he was just responding to your previous post, you’ll have the last word. So you text back more poison and turn your phone to silent, throwing it between your pillows where you won’t notice it. Why haven’t you blocked him yet? The sigh you exhale sounds too loud in the empty bedroom. You miss him, in a way. But your feelings are the exact opposite of what they used to be.
Summary: Winning the raffle and getting two tickets to see your favorite group of all time, Victon, you and your best friend end up meeting the group for the first time ever. But what happens when you meet your bias? And why is Subin looking at you like that?
Group: Victon; Subin x gender neutral!reader, ft. bias Chan
Genre: fluff, mild angst if you squint, some crack
Warnings: There’s small angst from the character but it’s not too much
You were sat with your best friend on her bed, watching videos and completely fangirling over the group on screen. “Oh my gosh I wish I could meet them.” You sighed dreamily, smiling like an idiot at the thought of meeting your idol and possibly hitting it off with him.
Your friend looked over at you in mild disgust and rolled her eyes with a smile, shoving your shoulder playfully to bring you back to the present. “Earth to Y/N! Your boy is on screen.” She called to you, pointing at the screen where-in fact-Chan was center stage singing his heart out to the crowd.
You gasped and threw your hands over your mouth. “Oooooohhhhh he’s so hoooootttt!” You whined with a pout toward your friend who was snickering at your reaction.
She just shrugged in response and went to stand up, probably to get food or something to drink. You were in the middle of taking a sip of your drink when you got a ping on your phone, indicating a message from one of the many apps on your phone. You looked down at it and screeched in surprise and excitement. “OH MY-Y/F/N GET IN HERE NOW!” You yelled at the top of your lungs, causing a panicked friend to burst through the doorway with a bat in hand.
“WHAT HAPPENED?! WHO’S HERE?!” She screamed back, looking around the room in terror.
She slowly dropped the bat when she saw your frozen expression towards your phone, the object stuck in your grip as you sat in place like a statue. “Y/N what’s wrong? What happened?” She wondered, setting the bat down at the foot of her bed and crawling back to her place next to you.
You finally had a moment of clarity and took a second or so longer to gather your brain and turn the phone to face her. “Victon, is having a signing in our town in 2 months….AND THERE’S A RAFFLE GOING FOR SOMEONE TO WIN 2 TICKETS ALONG WITH VIP PASSES TO MEET THE GROUP!” You squealed out, jumping off the bed to bounce around the room happily.
She let the words sink in before she looked down at your phone still lit up on the screen. “You realize you need to apply if you want to get the tickets right?” She asked you, watching your excited demeanor plummet immediately.
Slowly you turned to the phone and felt your hands shaking just a little bit as you went to pick the device up. “I-I….I….” You stuttered out, feeling your mouth going dry at the thought of winning, or losing the raffle.
She sighed a little and you stared at her wide eyed. “Should I do it?” You wondered softly, biting your lip in thought while your friend continued to watch you.
Before you were even able to come to a decision, she snatched the phone out of your grip and quickly put in all your information, then took to running away from you to lock herself in the bathroom for safety. You groaned and pulled on the handle for a couple seconds or so, hoping by some miracle that would work in allowing you to open the door. “Would you stop being so scared?! It’s just a raffle!” She yelled at you through the door, not making any moves to get closer to the door.
You rolled your eyes and went back to the room, yawning a bit as you did so since it was….around 3 in the morning?! You yawned again and decided to lay down and watch some more videos while waiting for Y/F/N to finally step out of the bathroom. What you didn’t expect was to fall asleep while waiting for her…
It was a few days later when you got a notification on your phone saying that you won the tickets you were looking at with your friend. Needless to say you had messaged her immediately, screaming and practically crying in your excitement.

A few months later-with the app open on your phone-the two of you stood in line waiting to meet the group you’ve been following….since they debuted. “I can’t believe I’m going to meet them. A-Am I dreaming?” You wondered in curiosity, staring at her wide eyed.
She rolled her eyes at your antics and shook her head. “No, you’re not dreaming. You’ve asked me that like 100 times since you won the tickets. You should be HAPPYYYYY! You’re meeting your bias!” She told her, shaking your shoulders gently to wake you from your dreamlike fantasy.
You shook your head and blinked at her. “Eh? Huh? What I do?” You wondered quietly, hearing her snort once she managed to bring you back to the present.
She chuckled and sighed softly. “Nothing, nothing. You’re daydreaming again though.” She mumbled back and smirked a little when you gave her a wide eyed stare.
You swatted her shoulder while she continued to smirk and started snickering, mumbling about how cheesy you were because of your favorite group. Which you had to remind her; she was the exact same way with her favorite group. She immediately tried clamping your mouth shut when you let that comment slip and you were only able to dodge her hands a couple seconds before she latched onto you. What you didn’t expect was your antics with your friend to catch the attention of a specific member up front. You were too busy laughing and dodging your friend to notice the small smile and soft look in their eyes.
The two of you continued to have a blast messing with each other and talking about anything and everything, mainly to distract yourself from what you were about to do with your bias...the piece of paper you were going to hand him getting wrung up in your hands the closer you go to the front. “C-Can’t I just talk run away now? I don’t think I can do this.” You mumbled the moment your feet stopped on the line at the front, your worried gaze staring at your friend who gave you her signature look.
She wrapped her arm around your shoulders and swept her arm towards the guys talking with the other fans. “You really want to give up this opportunity? Your mans is waiting for you up there. You NEED to go see him!” She told you while massaging your shoulders like a wrestling coach.
You slowly nodded your head and tried gaining yourself some confidence while you made your way up to the table the boys were at, seating yourself in front of Byungchan to start your long awaited meeting with the group. You couldn’t help but glance over at Chan every once in a while though, wondering what it was he was thinking about, maybe you would find courage you didn’t know you had the moment you saw him? You scrunched your nose at the thought and glanced to the end of the line where you saw the maknae snickering about something, even though no one was in front of him at the moment. What was so funny? “It was nice meeting you Y/N! Thanks for being part of ALICE!” The voice in front of you brought you back to the present, and you turned to face them with a grin.
You stood up and gave a small bow to Byungchan before you sat down in the seat next to the one you had just occupied. It went like this for a good few minutes; you would glance over at Chan, and make a small face, and Subin would snicker or laugh outright right after as if he could see you. It changed a little once you sat down in front of Chan and he gave you a happy grin. “Hello! Thanks for stopping by today! What’s your name?” He asked you.
You couldn’t fight back the blush on your face and coughed into your hand. “Y-Y/N. It’s nice to f-finally meet you.” You mildly stuttered, mentally patting yourself on the back for not completely acting like an idiot before reminding yourself you JUST sat down.
He started asking you questions about small things as he wrote, like your favorite song or album, what you liked about the group, and of course; who your bias was. You blushed again at the question and gave him a small, embarrassed smile. “You a-are actually. I-” You were about to continue when he looked up at you and gave a large grin, too frozen at the sight to say anything else.
He handed the cd over to Subin who was watching the whole thing happen next to him. He watched the way the blush faded from your cheeks the more you talked to Chan, to the point even the cute smile on your face faded away til you were just giving a tight lipped smile and nod to him as you stood up to step in front of Subin himself. And when you did, he fought the urge to take you into a hug at just the sight of the sad look on your face. “Hi there! Y/N right?” His voice cut through your thoughts, jolting you out of whatever you were thinking about in that moment.
You nodded your head slowly and gave him a tiny smile. “Y-Yeah, how’d you-oh right.” You gave him a nod and mentally shook your head to get the thoughts out.
The two of you then started talking about anything and everything you could think up. From favorite moves in the dances, to favorite colors, to whatever you blurted out randomly. And the whole time you were talking to him, he was writing; to the point you thought he was writing you a novel or something! What in the world could he have been writing?
You smiled wide and took the cd from his hands, giving him a deep bow. “Thank you. I didn’t know I needed that today, but thank you.” You mumbled to him just before you were asked to step away from the table and step towards where Y/F/N was waiting for you.
The car ride back to her house was a Victon marathon with her favorite group also playing. But you noticed halfway through listening to Mayday, your attention switched from Chan to the maknae who lifted your spirits at the fansign. You actually flinched a little once that thought made it to your brain and you turned to your friend in a mild panic. “Y/F/N, something...something happened at the signing today.” You mumbled out finally, earning part of her attention seeing as she was still driving.
She made a noise for you to continue what you were saying, which sent you into the long winded explanation of what happened between you and the group members, waiting to tell her about Chan and Subin until you got to the house. “A-And...well I’m not sure.” You finished when the both of you sat down on the bed in her room.
She stared at you while you gathered your thoughts, and then grinned wide. “Don’t you get it? Subin likes you! Here, let’s see what he wrote!” She suggested happily, snatching the cd case from your hand to look at all the signatures.
She read Chan’s first, just to see what it was he wrote, and saw that it was about the same as the rest of them. Even though he also mentioned his thanks and appreciation for being your bias. But it was Subin’s note to you that had her choking on air and cackling like mad. “Oh my gosh! Oh wow! You go!” She snickered before handing the cd over to you, where you looked at all the notes.
What caught your attention was the set of numbers on the bottom corner underneath Subin’s messy handwriting. You were too shocked to even read what he’d said, too caught up in the fact that he gave you his number. Or...at least A number to text. “Wh-What do I do?” You panicked, staring at your friend who gave you a look of disbelief.
She grabbed your phone out of your pocket and created a new text message, holding her hand out for the cd still in your frozen hand. “Y/N come on, don’t you want to test who this is?” She asked you, inching towards the cd until she was able to look down at the number and copy it over quickly.
By the time you were able to hide the cd from her eyes, she’d already put the numbers into the recipient area and was formulating a text message to send. “And...there…..we…..go. Sent!” She mumbled to herself before jumping for joy and tossing your phone back into your lap.
You stared at her wide eyed. “What have you done?!” You squealed, throwing a pillow at her out of embarrassment.

Subin had just stepped out of the van and made it upstairs when he was finally able to check his phone for a message. And he wasn’t at all excited when he saw a text from an unknown number that had the first words of “Hi, this is Y/N…” Oh no he wasn’t.
He also didn’t immediately run to the couch and sit on it to text said number back so you knew it was actually him on the other end. Nope, and the guys who walked passed him weren’t mumbling to each other in confusion about what was going on while he continued messaging you for the whole night, only going to bed after your friend had stolen your phone and messaged him saying the two of you needed to go to bed to be able to go shopping tomorrow. And also, there was NO way he was smiling like a complete idiot as he fell asleep that night.
Of course, the next morning when he woke up practically prancing around the rooms in his happy state, Sejun had walked up to him and rested his hands on the maknae’s shoulders. “Why are you so chipper this morning? What happened yesterday with that fan?” He asked, seeing something happening between Subin and that specific fan who was quietly talking about things they enjoyed while looking over at Chan the whole time.
Speaking of Chan, said tall guy walked over at the perfect moment and glanced down at the phone hiding in Subin’s collarbone. “Y/N? Isn’t that the fan who said I was their bias? How’d you get their number?” He wondered out loud, watching the maknae’s eyes widen as he spun around to look at Chan.
Subin looked between the two older guys and groaned. “Okay….so I might have given them my number on the cd case….and they might have texted me last night….” He grumbled out while awkwardly glancing away from the both of them.
Chan snorted and ruffled his hair. “Wow, good job Subinnie. I didn’t think you’d have it in you! I’m so proud.” He joked, wiping a fake tear away from his eye as Sejun snickered behind his hand and Subin rolled his eyes.
Subin then looked at Chan and frowned a little. “Y-You’re not mad I did that? I mean...they do like YOU…” He mentioned quietly, feeling his phone vibrate from another text, most like from you.
He glanced down at it and saw a happy, smiling face of you and your friend and couldn’t help smiling himself, lifting the phone up a little bit to reply while still listening to what Chan was about to say. The elder of the three smiled and shook his head. “I think it was just a phase. Guess they saw something better in you than me. I’ll be fine. I’m more happy that you FINALLY TALKED TO SOMEONE OUTSIDE OF US!” He called out, running away from the duo so Subin wouldn’t hit him.
The maknae stared in horror at the spot Chan was in when he heard the questions of the rest of the members. “Wait what? Subin got a number? He’s talking to someone? Before us?! Subin has a FRIIIIIEEEEEND?!” He heard the eldest shout the loudest and felt the strength in his legs disappear.
He managed to send you one last message before he was bombarded with questions for the next few hours:
“I might die because I gave you my number. If you don’t hear from me in the next few hours….call for help.”
