Unlike other Lion Coalitions, none of them are related to each other by blood. They also refuse to kill or harm the cubs of previous lions, which while not necessarily an uncommon trait is certainly not a given.

Moto:
He/Him, Approximately 8 Years Old
The eldest, lead, and founding member (hence it being Moto’s Coalition), he formed the Coalition soon after he was forced away from his Birth Pride (The Burnt Baobab Pride before their territory was engulfed in a fire) as a young adult three years ago when a wandering lion ousted his father and uncle. He took the young Subira, Shetani, Zuberi and Kamau under his watch when they all had unfortunate circumstances of their own. Eventually his coalition made his way back to his Birth Pride, who had been left without a coalition in charge for a time, and settled in that large area of land. He has two cubs with Furaha from the Jackalberry Tree Pride, Maua and Mwamba
Subira:
They/Them, Approximately 5 Years Old
A reclusive and withdrawn lion who, albeit being a part of Moto’s Coalition, is more often found residing in Kivuli’s Grove, a patch of territory housing a number of predators who aren’t lions under the protection of a notable black leopard, Kivuli, who they share an interesting relationship with. After their traumatic parting from their older brother Sefu after he revealed himself to be not above killing the cubs of other lions to make room for himself, they found themselves travelling with Moto for a time. They have no cubs currently with any of the lionesses in any pride.
Shetani:
She/Her or He/Him, Approximately 5 Years Old
Shetani was unfortunately the lone survivor of their birth pride after a particularly long and harsh dry season left them with no food or water to sustain them. Afterwards she spent her adolescence almost completely alone as she wandered through the desert until being found at death’s door by Moto and Subira. She now is happily settled within the coalition, and has three partners; Nusura from the Burnt Baobab Tree Pride, Bahati from the Jackalberry Tree Pride, and Umoya from the Storm Chaser Pride. She has two cubs with Umoya, Barafu and Theluji
Zuberi:
He/Him, Approximately 4 Years Old
Zuberi ran away from his birth pride after his elder cousin took over and used his newfound power to threaten and abuse Zuberi as an example to the rest of the Pride. Before meeting with Moto, Subira and Shetani, Zuberi met Kamau who had also just fled from his own pride after killing his tyrant father. The two would travel with each other and only each other for around a year before joining Moto’s Coalition. Zuberi’s only partner is Kamau, with whom he has three cubs (Zuberi is trans and that’s why they could have cubs); Zuri, Werevu and Aina who are currently being fostered by Furaha in the Jackalberry Pride
Kamau:
He/Him, Approximately 4 Years Old
Kamau’s father was a violent lion who took his anger out on him and the rest of his family. When Kamau was a year old, he killed his father in his sleep before running away before any consequences could come of it. There he met up with Zuberi and the two remained with each other for a year before joining Moto’s Coalition. Kamau’s partners are Zuberi, and Upanga from the Burnt Baobab Pride. With Zuberi he has three cubs; Zuri, Werevu and Aina, and with Upanga he has three cubs; Damu, Hatari and Kifo
