                He turned his head. Where there should have been eyes there were only gaping holes, leaking blood and black sludge like a corrupt faucet. The antlers on his head were twisting and cracked, covered in broken edges like the blade of a knife. He opened his mouth then, revealing the jagged edges of fragmented teeth. The noise that left his throat was an inhuman screech that sent a sharp pain through the ears of the gathered researchers across the room. He shifted then, mangled hands and claws dragging across the concrete and emitting a noise that sounded like the concrete was a chalkboard. As he twisted around so did his back and neck, bending at an odd angle that made the humans flinch away. He tilted his head then. After a long moment, a wide grin of bared teeth spread slowly across his face. It was then he started reaching out.
