honestly i always assumed that most of the other planets the gems had colonized were unoccupied

they don’t need a planet that can sustain life. i think it was probably just coincidence that earth could

there’s more uninhabited planets out there than livable ones with life actually on em. by quite some magnitude

im sorry but why are glados and white diamond compared? both condescending women with black and white color scheme

its flimsy! they couldn’t be more different!!

glados is approachable, white is sooo far beyond aloof

no insult is too petty or too childish for glados to throw at you there is no fruit too low hanging, no blow too low. she is very very personally vindictive. shes much more human. she is deliberately as mean and petty as she can be and its personal in a way. she has a facade of being a clinical test robot but it starts falling apart pretty early.

to say that white diamond ignored steven is an absolute understatement. that implies she actually heard or absorbed anything he said and chose to act as if she had not. it would never occur to her to pay that much personal attention to what anyone else was doing. why would she go to the effort to ignore someone. she is going to do her own thing regardless of what anyone around her is doing. it makes absolutely no difference to her. she says beneficent motherly things and smiles down at “pink”, calls “pink” endearments. she says the things she finds appropriate and expects everyone to go along with her. expects is even a strong word like she believes it to her core that everyone will just conform to what she is saying.

glados never said anything motherly, she might compliment you but it would be explicitly and unsubtley backhanded. she would never call chell an endearment.

the closest glados gets to white diamond is like i mentioned when shes putting on the act of being a clinical testing robot. but shes not really that good at it and the personalities are not that similar
