Under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, the Office of the Prosecutor (“OTP”) may analyse information on alleged crimes within the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court (war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide and aggression), submitted to it from any source. This can occur during preliminary examinations as well as in the context of situations under investigations. The form found at the link above can be used to submit such information, also known as “communications,” to the OTP either anonymously or named.
