drug/party ring

without having to spell it out, it's clear that the usage of drugs on campus is highly discouraged. if found with such contraband, students are subject to serious penalties and in severe cases or by repeat offenders, expulsion. but the drug ring of ismara has been thriving for years with no plans on stopping at all. led by the kingpin - aiden kinsler and a tight network of associates they run things with an incredibly strict policy and do not take kindly to people either ruining their plans or trying to tear them down. this operation moves regularly, unlike the fight ring and you will have to be in the group already in order to know where the latest headquarters is. this is not due to any mishaps in the past, more so out of caution and a healthy dose of clever thinking.

unlike other rings on campus, the drug ring is operated with a great amount of finesse and does not allow members to come and go as they please. this is the kind of group where once you join there is a very, very slim chance of getting out and you'll have to take that up with the kingpin yourself. loyalty even for criminals, in this case, is of the utmost.

while aiden oversees various parts of the business and finds people to join, while fielding offers from others. he has also worked with party queen, valerie mckenna, since admission to the college in order to move the drugs in an efficient and swift manner. while the party ring is a separate entity from the drug ring itself, they nearly coincide entirely now and work in the same fashion. if you are a part of one, you are a functioning part of the other.

all members will be given a commission based on what they sell, how much they move and/or how much they produce. not to mention sometimes you get shit for free.

current positions open include:

2 chemists (*1 reserved via tumblr): chemists for the drug ring will produce and test the quality of what is being put out. at this time production is not necessary due to contraband coming from unspecified outside sources. as previously mentioned they will also be held accountable for the quality of what is being put out and will report if there is anything laced that is not currently for market.

4 section managers: obviously managing the whole market by yourself is seemingly impossible. due to the high supply/demand of both the drug and party rings, section managers are charged to keep an eye on the student body. 1 for each grade section (fresh-senior). they are responsible for reporting demands via grade and keeping a constant watch on those who have been blacklisted. or in other cases, who has stepped over the unspoken blacklisting rules. they will also be the ones paying you if you sell.

8 enforcers: well someones gotta get their hands dirty don't they. though the kingpin has been known to step into this line of work from time to time, the enforcers are the ones that you'll most commonly see people running from. they are sent after those who owe money, owe anything to the fighting ring on campus and, in some rare situations, will pick up a hit on some poor unlucky soul.

6 dealers: those who have the goods and hand them over. it's a cash and carry deal and the dealers have a very important responsibility - they're the ones getting it out to the people after all! they are responsible for religiously reporting to both section managers and the kingpin for anything they have sold so inventory can be accounted for. dealers are involved with both rings more than others as it is imperative they are always present.

5 scouts: scouts do not have any drugs on or with them (unless using personally) but they do work very closely with dealers. it is there job within both the drug and party ring to find potential users and make sure they are immediately connected with a dealer.

8 bouncers: though not all work at the same time, the bouncers are a very important part of the party ring and will be on the look out for anything that's too rowdy. fighting can be nice but in an already illegal setting, there is only so much misconduct one can take. they are also responsible for making sure anybody who is blacklisted is not permitted entry/thrown out and will sometimes stick close to either ringleader - safety precautions.

subplot reveal #2!

hi cuties! we, the staff, are so so happy that we are still getting new followers, that the tag seems to always be in use, and that you guys are as excited as we are about the opening of the site! and because we're so happy we've decided to go ahead and reveal another subplot for you angels!

fast cars, fast women, and bottles of jack.

you have your junkies, you have your fighters, you have your gamblers and your drunks- and now here’s your racers. all are cut from the same cloth, they’re addicts. the racers live for the adrenaline rush, the blood pumping through their veins, the tension under their skin begging to be let free. they want to let loose and rev their engines under the ismara sky.

the back roads of this little town were made to be raced on. straight, mainly flat roads that were barely ever driven on. haven for the racers. as the need for speed increased, the more participants joined the crew. and by the time the crew got too big, the crew began to divide. the ones loyal to the original racer stayed, while the ones who wanted to branch out, have more freedom, left.

a rivalry broke out between the two gangs- fighting over cars, women, turf. while the loyals were smart about their racing, going at night, having watch outs for police, the wrecks- those who left- are more ambitious, wanting to race during the day, to have the police chase them around and cause all sorts of unnecessary trouble all over town.

all members of the loyals hate the wrecks, and all the wrecks hate the loyals. despise one another, steal each other’s groupies, race on each other’s roads, race for each other’s rides.

this petty rivalry between the two racing crews of ismara is about fifteen years old. and now, finally, they have a bigger issue than just racing each other for pink slips.

the police have started to really crackdown against the illegal street racing in town. three members from the wrecks and two from the loyals have been arrested already. before this there had only been two people arrested for street racing, and now there were five behind bars.

the leaders of the crews have decided to band together and make themselves too big for the ismara police force to handle. obviously the members are less than pleased. these adrenaline junkies are being forced to get along with those who they’ve hated for so long. befriend the men who stole their girls, stole their rides, and people think there won’t be drama? think again.

subplot reveal!

bringing you a hella sexy subplot from archaic fun right now, just for being lovely little angels!! we've seen a lot of talk and interest in the fight ring at ismara so we thought we'd give you a little sneak peek at some of the subplots you could be taking part in on the site!

the fight ring is one of the newest established illegal ventures at ismara college. compared to the widely profitable drug ring that’s been a part of the school for ages, the fight ring only began when clarissa kealey bought an empty warehouse and organized the fighters under her. the fighting used to take place in the basement of an old building on campus, holding hundreds of kids at a time. here, there were no set handlers of the money- lots of the time it being a friend of one of the fighters, safety hazards, and barely any room for the fighters to do what they do. the odds were inaccurate, the conditions were less than desirable, and money was being cheated out of everyone. clarissa chose to make it her business, bought what’s known as “the warehouse” in downtown ismara, and now controls the fight ring.

while clarissa calculates her profits and leads her business from a top office that overlooks the floor, she has workers underneath her. two guards that are meant to keep her and her money safe. they're the muscle of the ring and take down anyone who causes a problem with the business. next are two overseers that watch the floor from above and assist in the passing of money from the floor to the office, and schedules fight nights and rave nights. five floor men are below the overseers. they take the bets from the floor and make sure the earnings and losses are accurate, then the head floor man takes the profit upstairs, hands it to an overseer, and goes back downstairs. they also usually help with setting up fights and raves, keep everyone calm on the floor, and ensures things are running smoothly.

each member of the ring gets a fair cut of the profits, obviously the higher up gets a bigger cut. members can be thrown out of the ring, demoted, and promoted. the ring is growing so numbers may rise with the popularity and demand of the fight ring.

the fighters that are under clarissa get a pay for each time they win a fight as well as the cut of profit they earned from the betting. the more fighting the more money, however with the more fights they win, the odds turn in their favor and they get less of a cut from the betting. along with the money, clarissa provides security for her fighters during fight nights, access into all rave/party nights for free, and discretion on and off campus. at the moment there are six fighters under the name of clarissa kealey.
