first off, inspoweek2k15 has been amazing so far! it's probably been more than a week but we still love seeing everyone's creations in the tag! the moodboards, character graphics and plots we've seen are /amazing/ and make us even more excited to reveal the time the site will be opening tomorrow! 

although inspoweek2k15 has run its week duration, we encourage you to continue developing your characters and utilizing the tag! whether they be blurbs, graphics, posting want ads, etc. we'd love to fill up #archaicrp tag with more of your writings, ideas, and wonderful graphics!

now it took a little longer than we expected but we have come up with the time the site's opening tomorrow!

hi! we’re super excited as well!! we’re still throwing around times and determining what would be the best time for everyone, but we haven’t come to a precise time! we do, however, know it will be tomorrow evening. when we figure out the exact time we will definitely post it later tonight! xxx

are you going to make the Olympians have specific plots still?

we are not! this time around there will be no set canons since the plot has been opened up from just the university. that being said, please make sure your spirit is fitting for your character or we may ask you go change it.

right now, actually! i haven't had a chance to get onto my computer until just now, but we'll be taking care of it this moment (:

today is the last day for our member reserve challenge-thing(-IDK WHAT YOU WANT TO CALL IT?) it will end tonight (before i go to bed - sorry such exact timing, lol)! 

only our three biggest fans will get reserves for spirits + faces, and that will occur in order - for example, our #1 fan will get first shot at reserving what they want, #2 will get second go at it, and #3 will get their reserves last. that's all we're doing as far as member reserves go, so this is your last chance to reserve things before the site opening next week.

posts in the tag will count (((ONLY INSPOWEEK POSTS))), and i will add those in separately to your current standing. if you have posted things in the tag during inspiration week thus far and they are not showing up in the tag, please message me this so i know to check your blog individually. i'll try and check this on my own, but sadly i can't hit every single one of our followers since we have so many!

keep posting in the tag during inspiration week after tonight! i know it won't necessarily get you anything special, but we love to see your ideas and you guys make such beautiful things, we absolutely don't want it to stop! if you have any questions, shoot them our way asap.

what are the member groups going to be?

members will be sorted by their location! so the three member groups we will have are upper ismara, lower ismara, and on campus~ we really want to focus on forming new connections with people that live within your area! so lots of apartment/neighborhood plots to help stir up some much needed drama! that being said, we will still have plenty of site events that stretch across the board entirely, including all member groups and therefore all locations.

do you have any guess of when you'll start taking member reserves?

we don't really have a particular date set for member reserves, as we weren't totally sure we'd do them this time around. but we did discuss having our biggest fans on tumblr getting a few reserves in before opening! however, if reserves are something you guys are really anxious for, we can definitely try and make that a possibility!

can we have any info on the application? like, what kind is it, what are the requirements, maybe even a preview?

we will have a freestyle application on archaic fun! before creating the application, we all agreed that we wanted the writing to be the sole focus of the site and therefore the application itself. it’s setup is relatively simple, but more so, we hope it’s something that’s extremely easy to edit and navigate around. all that being said, i’m more than happy to give you guys a preview of what we have so far!

the main image size is 500x350, and the smaller is 125x125 and can be another pb graphic, gif, or even a drawing of the spirit itself. you must also have a first and last name, age, location, and occupation selected for your character - in addition to their spirit and face claim. aside from that, all we ask is for your alias + preferred pronouns and some basic contact info (aim/tumblr/skype - which you prefer/best way to contact you)!

as i was saying, our application is pretty simple and easy to complete - or so we hope! please note that this is a work in progress, so if you feel that something needs to be added to the application, feel free to let us know!

it worries me that there's not too much activity in the tag tbh. would you guys maybe consider holding some contests or something like you did last time?

hi there! we're really flattered that you have concerns about our growth! of course, we, as a team are keeping notice on it and we do have plans for contests and such! we would like to keep in mind though that repeating the same steps and holding more contests isn't relative to how well the site will go in future. especially as we were a busy tag last time around and the site wasn't open very long. hopefully this helps ease your worries!

no problem! we've added a listing of current claims by the staff onto our tumblr here. we're not taking member reserves just yet, but we do have plans for them very soon so definitely keep an eye out for those!!
