If I read one more news article in which a so-white-they-are-translucent person confuses the categories “women” and “people of color” with politically progressive candidates/elected officials … I’m gonna scream.

Yes, a more representative democracy is a sign of progress in the grand scheme of things, but that does not mean that a centrist or a conservative who happens to not be a white man is a Progressive.

The fact that this needs to be explained to such people is just so fucking disturbing.
