I love subtitles and believe we should get more subtitles for different languages as well as with the proper grammar for sign languages instead of following the same rules as [insert language], however whenever I read subtitles I always think to myself things like:
“You should’ve used a semicolon.”
“That could have been an ellipsis, not a comma.”
“Why are you writing a different word than what was used in the audio?”
“Semicolon.”
“That bit of the sentence was separate from the first and last half so it should’ve been between dashes thank you very much.”
“WHERES. THE DAMN. SEMICOLON?!”
