🩹 simple health / recovery spell
foreword: my boyfriend has a hard physical demanding job, therefore, he often experiences muscles and joints pains. in addition to my usual help (letting him rest, cooking, massage, medications) i feel like love magick spell-work is a great way to increase the speed of treatment. this can be used for any person you love and sincerely want to provide help
correspondences i choose are mainly for physical pain relief and the ones i have all the time. i'd choose a lil different ones for a mental health recovery spell
you will need
♡ salt for protection
♡ herbs
· basil, rosemary (protection)
· thyme, turmeric (gaining strength, health)
· lemon balm (gentle healing, vitality)
· ginger or cinnamon (speed, energy boosting)
· bay leaf (setting intention)
♡ your favourite tool for cleansing the energy (incense, herbs sprigs, bell)
♡ white / green / blue / black candle
♡ plate or bowl or even flat seashell for the candle
♡ small pouch
1. start with cleansing your space, yourself and a pouch (all of your tools if you need so). i also put on my headscarf for protection
2. put a candle in front of you and light it, make a salt circle around it and ground yourself by thinking about the person you want to provide help. visualise pain leaving their body, how they sign with relief, the way they smile and move without any difficulty
3. as you pour each ingredient into the pouch, think or say out loud what purpose you're adding it for. take a moment to visualise your loved one becoming stronger and healthier each second, standing steadily on the ground
4. write on bay leaves "(their name) is protected and healthy" / "(their name) is recovering" or draw a sigil* which you're sure of. burn them with candle fire or add some to other ingredients (i did both)
5. meditate with your spell pouch until the candle is fully burned
6. give the pouch to this person and ask them to carry it with them for a while
*sigil can also be drawn on a pouch itself as a final touch
i also charm his medical ointment and apply with the same intentions – increase the speed of muscle recovery. take care !
