{ @grumpyascianteddybear | Unsundered Enyo & Aurora }
Enyo... had not intended to escape the Sundering. It had been the furthest thing from their mind at the time, far more concerned with trying to save even one more life. In the end, their successes hadn't mattered, though. They'd fallen in battle, hovering stubbornly betwixt life and death, and when they'd felt the all-encompassing pressure, they'd somehow twisted through and past it, arriving on the other side intact... but bereft of a body. A shadow of their former self, they'd wandered for ages, helping when they could. Eventually, they'd had to pick up a body and pilot it to help someone... and had discovered they could do so.
Things had... changed a bit then. The body they currently wore was that of a short Au Ra. They'd been borrowing the bodies of those fallen in the Nhaadam for centuries now, lingering among the people they'd come to love as dearly as they'd loved Amaurot... but the Traveler could not stay in one place overlong. The whisper of adventure, and need, had pointed them towards the Ruby Sea.
It was there they encountered the child. They crouched down with a smile, looking her over. "Hello, little one." Aurora reminded them of a dear friend, their husband, and their daughter. An odd combination to find here in this broken world... there again, their husband certainly still lingered, for all they'd been carefully avoiding each other.
"I'm known as Nhaama. May I ask your name?"
