Brütal Legend Theory 1

In the cut scene to the final battle, Doviculus starts naming off things on Eddie that belonged to Succoria, like his axe and t-shirt. 

Now if you were like me, you probably questioned, why Succoria would have worn a t-shirt when all the other demons wear bdsm gear? 

My theory is, she was fascinated with humans long before she met Riggnorak, but not in any sort of respecting way. She (along with the rest of the Tainted Coil) probably thought of humans as, more or less, mindless animals. Succoria found humans and human culture to be cute, in a sort of sense. Like how we find animals, like cats and dogs, cute. Thus she mimicked some human culture like wearing t-shirts. Of course, this fascination would not stand in the way whenever a human acted up, because if an animal attacked you, you’d most likely fight back and teach them a lesson.

   The once great emperor, now frail and weak, holds a human infant limply in her arms as she lounged in the bed her companion had made for them. The baby lies contently, half asleep, in her arms. Her body still ached from the strain of giving birth to the child hours prior, yet she could do nothing more but stare at it in disbelief. It was unreal. "Riggnorak, what is this?" The demon spoke out faintly to her lover a few feet away from her. He, cooking an animal he had hunted for their dinner, answers her without missing a beat. "It is your child." This had already been the fifth time the demon lord had asked that exact question. The warrior was not sure what to do to help the demon cope with that baby's existence. He hoped that just holding and interacting with it would help. He stayed very close and kept an attentive eye on the two, though. Succoria had been in denial her whole pregnancy and the fact she still was, worried him deeply. He was afraid of what she would do next if the idea ever sank in. He loved her, but they had never planned on having a child. They didn't even know humans and demons could have children together. Riggnoraks thoughts are interrupted as the sound of the baby's cries cut through the silence of the cave. He snaps his head up towards the bed where the two lay. Succoria, now sitting upright, holds the infant by its ankle, dangling it upside down as it cries out in pain. Riggnorak gasps and jump to his feet, hurrying over to the bed. "Succoria, no! You cannot hold human children this way!" He takes the baby away from her and begins to cradle it in an attempt to calm it down.
