Depends? Things I recently found out about myself is that I’m very weird in terms of intimacy. That’s a broad question.... I mean I didn’t go to Karaoke but I almost always sing every day just random songs and random lines when I feel like it... I mean it’s mostly to myself but yeah

41. A genre that you just can’t get into?

Driving/Racing (Except Mario Kart). Traditional fighters, though I’d like to git gud at those eventually. Also, I used to think I loved JRPGs but I really rarelt the patience for them. I think I just love SNES-era JRPGs. And then I think I just love Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger. And the Mother series (especially 3), but that’s so different from the standard JRPG style.

44. Arcade machine that has consumed the most of your quarters?

Since I grew up with consoles and a Game Boy, I never really felt the need to spend that much time at any arcade machines… Except for pinball. To this day, I fucking love pinball and will patiently feed it quarters until I realize I’m $20 lighter.

3: Best game you've ever played?

6: A game that's changed you the most?

This question is too difficult to answer. A game I've gotten the most enjoyment out of is Team Fortress 2. A game I consider to be near flawlessly designed is Portal 1. And the game that's influenced me the most is probably Half-Life 2, and by extension Garry's Mod. But there are still so many games I've yet to play.

27: Has there ever been a moment that has made you cry?

.The Walking Dead made me cry on quite a few occasions. If I was going to pick a more "traditional" game, I can't really think of any. I think Mass Effect 3 might have a couple times (not the ending).

Most game writers seem to be afraid to allow the player to really feel strong emotions, or aren't willing to do the leg work to really connect you with the characters. The Walking Dead (Season 1) was really interesting because even though it was really nothing much more than an interactive novel, it kinda forced YOU to make all the important decisions, to pull all the proverbial (and literal) triggers. So even though really your choices had little bearing on the overall outcome of the game, you still felt completely invested and immersed in these decisions that Lee had to make - which is an extremely powerful example of how to make the most out of the medium of interactivity.

I can't think of a single other game that really takes full control over the interactive medium and makes you feel something with it. VNs don't count.
