My first reading in English...

Yes, I never read a book in English… An entire one. Obviously I have read some articles, short texts in my study English book, but never a “really” one. I mean a novel, a poetry book or a magazine in English. And now, I have decided to start! I was in library some days ago and I bought two books: The Great Gatsby and Such Pretty Things.

And as you could suppose I have start with Gatsby. Difficult? Oh… how to say. A bit! It’s nice that fact that now I know almost all the most important tenses in English, so it’s easily for me to understand the time of actions happening. But I still have a lot of words that I don’t know. So the dictionary is all the time near to me. I’m not sure about fact that I remember all those new words, but when they appear again and again throughout the text I deposit them somewhere in a drawer in my head. Maybe in one day I will start to use them.

So wish me good luck, power to finish this book and to start a new one. Still reading!

 PS: Have to remind that the English is not my native language! 😅

Honestly it was pretty much inevitable. I think I was first exposed to it on DevART during the summer (probably right after Episode 12 aired, you know where Rogue Titan punches Mikasa), and I was really intrigued by it. A lot. I have seen bits and pieces here and there about it, but nothing overly spoilerish. I've really enjoyed it thus far though, like woah. *w* It's been a long time since I've been this hype about an anime... I would say it's been since probably FMA: Brotherhood came out (and I about died when that happened).

Here's to praying that it won't catch up super fast and then sustain itself only through filler episodes, please please please....FILLER IS THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE WHEN IT COMES TO ANIME. I will stop watching it and just start reading, if that's how it'll go. And I like the animation 100x more than the drawings (which are really hit or miss in the manga from what I've seen), so please just animate all the things. ;~;
