Transform your beliefs and empower yourself to GREATNESS
The way that we view, interpret and understand the world is not how the world truly is, every second of the day we are taking in way too much information to be able to function. To deal with this our brains, without us being consciously aware of it, take all the information that is coming at us and put it through a set of filters. This filtered reality is how we experience our life.
Since our reality is made up of filtered information we need to be able to come to the realization that this is not the only reality but just one of many possible realities that are available to us. This can be a powerful discovery because it means that if you are not enjoying your current situation, getting the results that you want or want to change aspects of your life you have the power to do this by choosing to change your filters, however, this is not as easy as changing a filter on an Instagram pic.
One of these filters is our beliefs.
A lot of our beliefs are created in childhood, taken from our interpretation of major life events, passed down to us by our parents or comments/statements that people of influence have said to us. Once we have created a belief we become attached to it and look for ways to reinforce it, showing us that we are right in believing what we do. This can create a cycle strengthening these beliefs if it is a positive and empowering belief that is great however some beliefs are not useful, can hold us back, damage our self-image and even be detrimental to our well being. The great thing is we are all capable of creating and changing our beliefs to empower ourselves.
Let’s look at 4 steps you can take to transforming your beliefs to empower yourself to greatness.
Step 1. Recognise
Being able to recognise a belief we hold is holding us back or detrimental to our well being is the first step in being able to transform them. Since this is something you have most likely holds true for since childhood and see it as a truth to be able to see it can be challenging working with a coach can help. Start to pay attention to thoughts and stories that come up that limit or hold you back. Negative self-talk, saying things like I can’t or knowing something is true for you but not others can be an identifier of a limiting belief, once you have recognised one it is time to move on to step two.
Step 2. Break the cycle
Once we have recognised a limiting belief we need to be able to break the cycle. To do this we need to interrupt thought pattern, you can do this by stepping back and realising that the story you are believing is not the truth it is an interpretation you have taken from a past. Changing your body language, mentally resetting and taking a deep breath can all help to break the cycle.
Step 3. Re-frame
Now it is time to re-frame, to replace the old belief with the new positive and empowering one. To do this think and feel the new belief through every cell in your body and truly believe that the re-framed belief is true.
Step 4. Replete
Changing a belief won't happen immediately or overnight it will take time and practice repeating the previous 3 steps, being patient and kind yourself will help you transform your beliefs and empower yourself to GREATNESS.
Wrapping it up!
You have the power to empower yourself, being self-aware and continuing to understand yourself is key. This goes hand in hand with continuing to explore yourself and self-definition, how you define yourself in the past, in the present and how you want to view yourself in the future. It is also about recognising that how you used to be is not who you are now or who you can become.

I love seeing others succeed, I can’t explain why, yet. When I can, I’ll explain. But lately it’s like, seeing others excel and succeed in their goals is one of the best feelings I’ve ever had. . . #sucseed #personal #person #growth #goals #betterment #selfless #love #selflove #cheering #support #best #for #others #serving #service #gsxr1000 #daineseofficial #dainese #sportbikespectrum #throttlezone #throttle #alpinestar #ridingsexy #speedangels #throttletherapy #shoei #x14 (at Phoenix, Arizona)
I Turned 25 Years Old!!
Hello everyone today I wanted to reflect on my 25th year of life and how I've over come so much and not at a very happy point in life and exited for the future. It frustrates me when people moan about birthdays, you hear it more in your twenties and from people in there thirties, but for me growing up 25 seemed like that good age, were you were still young but have all the freedom of an adult, it meant more responsibility and exiting opportunities to follow. Don't get me wrong I'm not in the position I though I would be by now, but that was a child's perspective of life being easy jobs being easy you know...dream BIG! but I can honestly say I'm in a place were I am 100% happy I've realised this past year, happiness IS a choice and it doesn't just come to you, YOU have to make changes with yourself take risks and work towards being happy. now I'm happy, I can concentrate on moving forward career wise doing the things I love to do and keep working hard to over come succeed and live happy. Doing YouTube has helped me overcome so much and although I still cant watch myself back. I still think putting myself out there like this has got to count for something, I just need to learn how to care EVEN less about what people think and maybe start sharing what I do on YouTube with the people I surround myself with, I still hate the fact people will ask me about it, people might talk about me, not like it and all the rest of the crap us humans think about, but its something else I can learn to overcome, as you get older you learn and realise its not worth stressing about and who's gives a shit right? I'm happy and I just shouldn't care! This is why lloyd (my partner) is so good for me, he is so brave and just doesn't give a toss what anyone think, he puts himself out there with no cares or worries and its amazing! I wish I could be more like that, he's helped me overcome SO MUCH over the 7 years of being together, and he doesn't even know it! I'm a better person because of him, and I will keep learning from him, to just be myself put myself out there and to not care, because in the end for me all that matters is him and he's glad I'm doing all this and he wants to push me further and into doing more... So my message to people reading this is to remember only you can change the future, only you can make yourself happy, do what you want you enjoy, and CARE LESS about other people's opinions! An inspirational speech by a thirteen year old, who figured this all out well before me! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h11u3vtcpaY Getfashioning YouTube www.youtube.com/user/GetFashioning/
