1. I understand the internet is being restricted, make sure as many people as possible can use a VPN to get around it and keep posting. It’s gaining traction I promise, don’t underestimate how important that part is.

2. Learn basic first aid. I can’t stress this enough. Carry something to make a makeshift tourniquet, think about septicaemia In injured protestors, learn a triage protocol, learn CPR and most importantly do not try to move someone who’s injured yourself

3. We’re with you. Stay strong. Bring back the Sudan of our grandparents <3

#Sudan: this is Shawqi al-Sadig, a 12 year old boy from #Rabak in the state of #WhiteNile. Last Friday Shawqi participated in a anti-regime protest when a sniper shot him through the head and killed him. Little shawqi has since become the symbol of the uprising against #Bashir. According to tweets there's many well-trained snipers with a rifle/scope can shoot accurately enough to target a head in close urban quarters.
