Quando la grande Signora si sveglia la terra trema e il cielo si oscura, gli alberi si muovono inquieti perché sanno che l’ombra del nulla si allunga gelida sulle pendici del monte. Gli uccelli si zittiscono e volano lontano perché l’ira della grande Signora è terribile e nulla può farvi fronte e tutto quello che la circonda diventa provvisorio, un condannato che attende il giudizio finale mentre lei tira i dadi e decide cosa distruggere, chi incenerire, da che parte iniziare una nuova fine del mondo.

When the Great Lady wakes up the earth shakes and the sky darkens, the trees move uneasy because they know that the freezing shadow of Nothing is covering the slopes of the mountain. Birds are silent and fly away because the anger of the Great Lady is terrible and nothing can overcome it and everything around it becomes temporary, a condemned person awaiting final judgment as she pulls the dice and decides what to destroy, who to incinerate, from where to begin a new end of the world.
