favorite thing about the ship in its entirety?

Tbh I hesitated to answer this bc I couldn’t single out One Thing that I loved the most

Both characters are amazing on their own, and I love imagining the two of them doing cute things together

I love how much their personalities would conflict, their differing body types, and my own personal headcanons for carapace biology

I love everything tbh???

Pickle Inspector is kind of a weirdo, as is well known, as well he would develop a crush on Boxcars first.

He’s kind of weird about it, he tries to find out as much as he can about this mysterious and handsome carapace before using cases he takes on to get closer to him

He acts weird when having to fight the Crew with his team, distracted during strifes especially He can’t focus or say much, he ends up getting quite the beating from either HB or Droog

It gets annoying after awhile because Sleuth and Ace are tired of carrying him home or patching him up

Boxcars is quite attuned to romance, he knows the signs of infatuation better than anyone He knows Pickle has a crush on him And it’s fucking adorable, but also kind of weird

The sorta really sweet thing HB and PI do for each other? Ya know like surprise gifts of something? Headcannons on it?

Holy shit okay so

PI and HB would totally cook for each other or cook together, but for surprises the cooking turns to bakingPickle is especially fond of baking sweets and leaving them where HB will find them

Other small things would be packing lunches for each other, especially Boxcars doing this for Inspector because the man forgets to eat half the timeThere’s always cute notes in the bag or reminders or Pickle will just add cute doodles to make Boxcars smile

Other little gifts like flowers or little stuffed animals are also frequent, mostly from HB

There’s also the occasional Really Nice Expensive Tea that PI may have once mentioned trying before and REALLY liking but not having the money to get it again

This romantic cute shit is never in short supply because, as we all know, Boxcars is the biggest romantic ever????
